I have never spent more than the original $40 on this game. For context, I am the type of player that will spend hundreds on a game I support. I spent over $300 on a stupid browser based fantasy football mmorpg. I spent even more on spaceship jpegs for a game still in alpha.
New World has only got $40 out of me. Why? I don’t support the terrible decisions these devs keep making. Ignoring the community’s desperate requests while pushing in more garbage. They rush new crap that completely changes the game that nobody wants… while taking forever to not make obvious fixes that everybody wants.
And now they are increasing gear score without adding new content.
They have no clue.
FIX THE WEAPON SWAP BUG.
FIX THE RUBBERBANDING MELEE.
Make the OPR scoreboard represent contribution to victory, not random nonsense that gives no rewards to CC builds or Tanks but gives healers points for pressing a button… leading to bots that farm OPR by VG hurt LS healing their own accounts in a corner of the map.
GIVE US AN ARENA, or any PvP endgame content to actually use the gear we grinded for alongside OPR cause OPR is all you have now and its not that great.
GIVE US GEAR SETS, so we can easily swap between different outfits… which is completely how you designed this game… then you didnt give us an easy method to swap gear sets… still. still no gear sets yet GS increase.
ADD DIMINISHING RETURNS TO CCs, cause this is obvious to everyone…
ADD NEW CONTENT, not new grind for gear that you dont have any reason to use unless you happen to be part of the lucky 1% that get to take part in wars.
FFS there’s one outpost in OPR that you can just jump up into completely bypassing the doors. Been this way since beta.
Instead you gave us new grind for higher gear score without any new content.
And you won’t be getting any more money out of me than my $40.
I gave you a path to make more money from me. Make smart changes that the community continues to ask for, not garbage grind that no one wants.
This is not a “I am quitting after 1000+ hours” post… this is a “You’ve done such a bad job making terrible decision after terrible decision that I still have only spent $40” post.
Stop making such bad decisions. Start listening to the community.
