Did I understand luck?

I am trying write up a guide and some items with different luck stats appear in it.

People explained it like this to me. The game makes a Roll (like a dice roll) from 1 to 100.000.
If you wear a helmet with 3.9% luck it modifies now the Roll and increase the outcome of 3.9%

Then there are other luck items like food buffs that increase luck by 2.900. These come flat on top on the roll. If you now reach a certain threshold like 80.000 you get the rare item.

Did I understand it properly or how does it work?

There is no need for a guide. The only reason to wear luck and max it is if you want to farm Trophy mats.

its a part of a housing guide and the trophies grant also different values of luck

the roll is 1 - 100,000 is correct

but the % of luck you have is also a number like 2.8% luck is 2800

actually just talking about luck hurts my brain so ima head out

Devs already made a luck fourm explaining how it works.

oh cool. do you have a link for me please?

And Named Gear.
And Tradeskill Items
And to improve loot quality
And to get recipes ( Like golden chest )
And to get schematics.

This is wrong. I run Tempest yesterday without any luck. 0 Luck and got 6 named Items in one run. I doubt I d get 12 with full luck.

I have farmed several hundred pieces of named gear. Luck does positively impact it

Like in which matter?

Because % for named drops in dungeons is high, you will not notice difference on single run. On 20 runs you will see difference. Anyway is not worth to wear luck gear if you only want get named items…
