Hello OP here, it looks like an update went out claiming to address this issue. However the issue still was definitely not fixed in the slightest.

Logged in, went to Winter Village in MB, talked to Winter Wanderer, he gave one quest to kill Winter Warrior, which I completed. When I speak to the Winter Wanderer I can only see the covergence shop and his dialogue also says “Your truimph over the winter warrior keeps back the fate of Forever Winter.” So it seems I have hit the end of the quest line. Looking online it appears there are suppose to be multiple quests and also some quests to kill elites in different areas. - When did this happen? (Date and Relative time; please include your timezone)

Logged in, got the first quest and then before doing it i killed the winter boss and went round all settlements, when i came back to progress the questline it only let me complete a single quest - When did this happen? (Date and Relative time; please include your timezone)

I’d bet that the bug is now “fixed”, from happening to others who haven’t participated yet… But those of us that had the quest bug and only received the last mission will not receive the others, because our quest is “finished”.

Thank you for reaching out! If you didn’t finish the questline (but were part of the ground that missed the first three), it should reset and you’ll have access to the first three. If you did, you’re not missing out on too much. To provide some clarity, the quests you’re not having access to are the following:
- Visit a holiday hut, loot a single present, and loot a single gleamite.
The rewards for these quests are the following:
- A total of 1750 Event Rep.
- 21 Winter Tokens (no premium)
- 3 of each of the winter foods (can be bought from Event Shop)
- 5 Patterns (can be bought from Event Shop and acquired from Centerpiece gifts, no 600 GS patterns)
Obviously it’s a bummer to not go through the entire experience, but I do want to let you know that nothing in the questline can’t be gained elsewhere. I do not currently have an update on whether there will be a fix for those who already completed the questline. I will make sure to provide an update if we do, however!

Im a bit confused here, so where does that leave me? I did one quest. Turned it in and got no other quest. And still am not getting any other quests. Surely you cant mean people like me when you say “finished the questline”. Because there was no questline for me, just one quest.

These are pretty big things to have to miss out on and only forces us to grind the Winter Warrior more, which is quite a slog.

Hi @Aenwyn - I think there might have been some miscommunication between the community management team and what the devs actually fixed.
This is my first time doing this event in NW ever. I killed the boss before I completed the first quest in the quest chain. Now it’s not giving me any of the follow up quests you just described. The patch did NOT reset the quest line for me.
To reiterate - I have NEVER completed this questline, and I still don’t have access to any of the quests following the first quest in the chain (which was to kill the winter warrior).

We’re exactly in the same boat. I don’t understand what @Aenwyn meant by “finished the questline” because I have never ever done this event before. I am a returning player (I quit one month after NW was first released, and I did this on a completely different server from the FSS where I am located now).
I still don’t have access to any of the quests following the first quest in the chain (which was to kill the winter warrior).
Killing the Winter Warrior is the last quest in the line (I think). So basically some of us got ONLY the final quest and not any of the others.

so that was what @Aenwyn meant by “finishing the questline”. I see where the confusion is now. But still would’ve wanted to actually have the whole thing patched.
