As the title suggests it appears that the devs forgot about INT users when implementing open-world/dungeon loot.
There are BIS drops for other classes such as Laz bow / Infamy / Javelin of Dryad empowerment / Featherweight ring / Doom’s chance / Will of the ancients / Fury / Woodswarden etc.
Where are the drops for INT classes and why does there appear to be such a huge imbalance? Why are the BIS jewelry pieces class-specific and not CON so they can be used by multiple classes?
This has always been an issue but I feel like it is more pressing given that post-patch people will be able to upgrade their 590+ gear to become legendary with all 3 perks.
Granted there is Firevine Battlestaff but this is not a boss drop and is still only 2/3 BIS perks.
I mean even outside of nerfs/buffs it seems pretty inexcusable that other classes can get BIS setups while INT is reliant on crafting - seems like a huge oversight
I’ve made daily threads about this. Agreed so much. FS IG mages get JUNK in dungeons. It blows my mind how imbalanced the Legendary drops are against mages.
I’m interested in how something like this is considered “fair” and balanced. My main assumption is that the devs don’t really grasp what is a meta perk and what is next to useless. Either that or it’s yet another oversight. I’m not sure which is worse to be honest.

The post has absolutely nothing to do with mutations, its regarding the current availability of BIS drops for other classes and the lack of such for INT classes and concerns the question as to why BIS jewellery dropped is not dropped as CON and as such would be available to all classes.
This isn’t a “i want legendary” post as you tried to insinuate with your strawman argument its a question of loot availibility and quality.
I said this months ago, but the reason that STR builds are (or were) so popular isn’t necessarily because they’re stronger than everything else but because they’re so much easier to gear for. Infinity Crystal + Smooth Bone Ring means that you don’t really have to spend anything on jewelry, and there are a lot of great weapon drops too. Dex has a bit too, but there’s really nothing for Int players.
This is also why heavy armor was so popular, although the playerbase has mostly moved towards medium. This isn’t because medium got better; it was always better but it got easier/cheaper to pick up crafted/dropped medium pieces. Heavy armor is just more accessible + it usually is full Constitution which is a universal attribute, while dropped medium/light pieces have strange attribute distributions like str/dex or int/foc.
That’s why I stopped playing, as a player who invested in FS/IG, I saw my weapon being extremely nerfed, it doesn’t have voidbend int, it doesn’t have good int items in the dgs, nothing has changed in months (they promised for January and didn’t deliver), my curiosity about the future of the game makes me keep coming back to the forum, it was a serious mistake to leave such a popular class in any mmorpg destroyed for months, many waited, but just like me, they got tired and gave up, I’m going to try the lost ark, I hope to find more fun over there despite hating gender lock.
message to the AGS devs, did u forget that there are lots of players play as mages, u can solve the problem just adding some scholar attributes to the existing ring , earrings etc and make them random drops, so mages have a chance to get good drops from dungeons or U GUYS JUST DONT CARE AND ITS A WAY OF TELLING MAGE PLAYERS TO GET OUT AND PLAY OTHER GAME
even adding constitution in these good drops would benefit all, seriously do u guys really forgot to use your brains
