I think they are pretty active just not in the “whats going on with the game” part as they probably can only mention what they are allowed to talk about.
So many of the threads are repeats of other threads - some of which even have replies! Do you expect them to chime in ‘asked and answered’ in those threads? And then the whine threads and support threads are, well, just filler that should never be answered anyway.
The mods I typically see posting in Bugs thread.
The way they have organized their staff is quite odd to me.
They should quit their job if they are afraid to come over the forum.
I’ve never owned a white knight suit, nor rose colored glesses, and the last I checked, I wasn’t drooling.
LMAO, you act as if the moderators of this forum have anything to do with the game…
People, such as yourself, are the people I’m talking about. You give nothing constructive. All you do is bitch and moan and make flowery worded posts to make yourself feel better.
I’m not a fan-boi either, but I know that, since you like colorful language, you can catch more flies with honey.
The absolute lack of respect and professionalism is the problem. So, congratulations! You, sir, are part of the problem.
And I’m done, so you can rest assured, knowing that you will have the last word with me. Now, after you read this, you can furiously type out some other flowery response, which I won’t respond to. Good day!
I think USA had holidays last week?
Plus, what you expect them to say if there is no updates from the developers about those topics? Anything different from “it’s solved” will be met with the usual toxic replies
congratulations
No one has the right to be hostile to anyone on here. There’s a way to say things and not by rude, mean or downright and child throwing a temper tantrum. Mods and Devs will be more likely to respond if the conversation can stay civil and to offer a creative direction. If I were the mods I wouldn’t respond either.
Absolutely correct, except, I think the mods silence encourages the conversation turning combative. Usually a hot thread cools down a bit after they post something about a topic. Speculation and assumptions are all we have to post about.
First of all I couldn’t care less if you respond or not. Secondly as a CUSTOMER my “professionalism” was in the fact I PAID them money for their dumpster fire of a game! Thirdly their moderators ARE employees of AGS thus they have PLENTY “to do with this game”. And lastly the getting more with honey has not worked. Apparently you think them slow walking all the fixes to their recent fuck ups is just dandy. Yeahh just pat em on the back and give em your kisses on the cheek. It’s working great.
They’ll respond just like they read and take action on bot reports. Yeah that’s awesome!
BTW I love your alias!
Uhm. It’s their job. They just have to deal with this, it’s part of their daily routine. Get used to it or yes, quit. I am sure they knew what they signed up for.
After working many many years in customer service in both chat and phone call support i wish i could have that mentality lmao, “sorry boss 90% of the callers are rude so im just gonna start ignoring them.” And Its not like I just decided to up complain about this just because i can, i spent a little over an hour reading through threads trying to find some kind of reply to anyone about these issues with no luck. As far as the abusive posts go, i agree there is no place in the community for abuse of any kind and they have a strict tos that protects them from people like that with a simple ban option.
You just have to wait for the blog “Update on current nondescript issues 4” on friday. Maybe then we will get some infos but I wouldn’t hold my breath.
Been wondering myself. The community has been begging for an update or even an acknowledgement we have a tiny bit of an issue now that they’ve basically turned an entire tradeskill-profession off - for two weeks and counting.
Not a single word. Wall of silence.
And no, 99.8% of us furnishers haven’t “been abusive”, we just want to make sure that they are actually working to turn the trade back on, so they didn’t think that turning it off was the fix.

official communication isn’t only about the angry mob in front of you, but all the silent people who don’t directly engage, or get their info from other sources.
they should communicate what their plan is as soon as they know, whether 10-20 people in the forum annoy them or not.
if salty people cause them to clam up, that doesnt bode well for the future costumer relations
The players have literally turned the New World forums into a battlefield and now they expect the mods to sort out everything.
To be honest… this is probably what a mod needs to go through on a daily basis.
We just had a weekend. I think America also had Thanksgiving. It’s a job to them. Not their ife
Because no-one really works on a Monday Duh… It’s catch up day for most businesses that dont operate over the weekend. Well the few that don’t like Amazon Games
