i agree i don’t know what were they thinking but not being able to use my bank , not being able to use different ahs and full bag is not fun to play… i don’t think anyone is enjoying not being able to use banks bags ahs etc.
I can live with the different stashes.
I can not do this different trading post thing. Absolutely awful idea.
The lack of mini map is a big problem yes, but lack of gold income? Like I have 40k gold and 500gs epic items are on the market in 30-100g range lol…
How come I can’t put Bags of Holding in my Settlement Storage to increase that storage?
I think that’s an interesting idea as a Faction Token sink.
fellars the game gonna slowly die according to bank weight limits ,different bank things i have to go to other city to craft a tier 4 bag , then i come back to get my stuff on my other bgank then i have to sell my bag items but the ah is different on 50 level places and no one buys items there and then i have to come back bla bla bla bla goes on and on this is crazy and shows that developers did not play their own games they have no idea how azoth teleport system , bag limitation , azoth 1000 cap
i dont know why it is 1000 capped ? like who came up with 1000 number why 1000 ? why not 1314 or 1350 or 2355 ? why just 1000 is it bcuz 1000 is a nice number
some system are not tought on them at all… faction system is killing the game bcuz of different ahs different banks (i get the idea u gonna get good faction so u can use bank) but no one wants to struggle to use online banks on different cities you see thats not fun and nut player friendly system… i am afraid soon players are gonna go away slowly cuz that is frutrating to play with those system also there is no coin income in the game other than questing… i am really sad about amazon gaming brain team.
Lol
Many of the things you complain about(1-5), actually looks like different parts of the same solution. And yes, I do say solution, not a problem.
What I do think they are trying to create is a system to make each world have regional markets, and therefore regional values. Creating a more dynamic world, which incentivizes different playstyles and gives people a reason to not settle down in terms of PVP.
Because it is annoying/azoth intensive to move things, you are being pushed into considering to either craft where you farm, or sell at the local AH. If that AH is a less active one, you are going to learn to use lower prices there. Hoping that other players will make the trip instead in order to save money. Or yet other players will make the trip and buy in bulk, to resell in a more used AH. Depending on the choice you make you will have either paid with time, gold or azoth.
Of course this applies to pulling from other factions-storages as well (where you pay with gold)
Having a limited bag is need for some of the above mentioned annoyance, and it also somewhat ties you to a city. You can not have never-ending farming runs. Which causes us to loop back to the beginning again where goods end up in the “wrong” place.
And, because people are being pushed into considering crafting where they farm, we get an incentive to upgrade those cities as well, despite them not being the “Capital” of the server.
And, we get a significant PVP-incentive to own the capital, due to increased amount of gold that city would give over owning any of the others. Over time, merely owning a settlement will be for pushovers. What you really want is to own that servers Capitol.
And I say this, as one of the biggest hoarder there is. I’m continously being pushed into selling things I otherwise would have just hoarded. It also forces me to try to figure out what to do with what I have to make the most money out of it, rather than just sit and wait for the perfect combination of goods. And while that too is annoying, I think that too is intentional, and intended to keep goods flowing.
This does indeed make this game different from many other MMORPG’s out there where the trading and crafting aspect is more of a minigame, than an actual core concept of the game. But I’m not really sure it’s going to be bad for the game longterm.
game economy is fwked up u lack of sources u are lack of azoth u are lack of coin , items are 0.01 gold on ah etc. immediate response is needed for economy either…
Travel is a absolute pain in this game. I doubt the will ad mounts to the game so the least they could do to balance this out is connect the banks and shops.
also when i press inventory my character stupidly looks at me on the screen i can’t do anything why did u came up with an intro character looking at me when inventory is open ? most of time my inventory is full mobs are htting me and i die while trying to manage my inventory…
1- Each town has it’s own pro’s and con’s, you will slowly start seeing this as the game develops, some area’s will have more ore and are better economy for ore, others will be better for herbs, tree’s etc. As an example Brightwood in my server is generally good for woodcutting and wood in general. The woodcutting station has been upgraded for this very reason in this town and they’d be silly not to. If you want to be able to get wood, go there farm it or even better go there and buy it because someone else has probably already done it for you.
Don’t expect to sit in one town, owned by your faction and reap the rewards of every other town.
2- Azoth is not blocking anybody, you have the ability to move in this game, use your legsand run places. Yes it may not be ideal running from one side of the map to the other, but that is what you have to do to get from A to B if you decide to waste all of your Azoth.
There are ways to counter this by travelling to faction owned towns, using house teleport, inn recall, azoth bottles and … the list goes own. Learn to maximise your azoth and not expect to flipflop around teleporting from A to B to Z.
3- I don’t know what to say here, again I will give the same comments… It’s about maximising you’re hunting and farming. Target what you gather, salvage what you don’t need and don’t spend hours out in the wilderness.
There are still things you can do, getting better bag weight, obtaining bag perks to reduce weights of certain items etc.
4- Simple, don’t then - teleport to another town, utilise your house/inn teleports to go and store/sell your loot and go back.
5- You can switch from what I remember, this is on a cooldown of like 120 days, unfortunately this has been an ongoing issue/discussion that has been raised across all the beta’s.
6- new world map
7- Very true, money dries up a lot after questing, this is something I noticed and a lot of ‘get rich quick schemes’ promote AH monopoly. Money itself should be recycled through AH sales, town taxes etc. If money is not being pumped back into the economy it is probably being hoarded by companies with town’s or players with lots of AH trading.

One thing I will note in relation to weight issues - one of the most recent patches to increase crafting reagents has made the economy for those reagents dead, and the amount of weight they accrue after running a single elite 60 area is absurd.
Ultimately, the whole point of these systems is to slow down progression and encourage you to go out of your way, explore and find efficient ways to min max your playstyle/routines. Sorry you don’t like the way the game is designed and that you are not given everything to you on a plate in the one town you like playing in.
What do you suggest they do? Give you an infinite storage box that you can access from anywhere in the game so that you can just sit outside that 1 boss that drops really good loot and never leave?
This game seriously needs to separate each auction house. You should get 100 market slots per city, not globally…it’s so annoying in a game where you get billions of items.
Agreed OP, Honestly I’m not interested in the logic behind separate Auction houses and sheds, I just know I do not like it and it is not fun for me. I also know this applies to many other players.
Explaining the logic of it does not make it any more fun.
While we are on the subject, the economy is just broken when items are selling for 0.01.
Unified storage and auction houses will absolutely destroy the economy thats barely hanging on as it is. Gonna be a MASSIVE no from me dawg.
I think the biggest problem here is that the game doesn’t do enough to explain to player’s the mechanics of the game to increase weight. If you own a house in a town you can add storage chests of varying tier to add more weight to that towns storage. You can get these storage chests by crafting with furniture crafting or by looting them from chests (I’ve gotten 3 T4 marble storage chests from chests that add 525 weight each, just from opening chests). With 3 T5 bags equip with extra pockets perk on them you can achieve over 1300 character weight. You can get azoth free teleports with the purchase of houses and the more expensive the house the shorter the cooldown on the teleport. If you are running low on azoth (my “low” is under 400) you should use your remaining azoth wisely as in find a place that has good mob density to farm and refill your azoth. I don’t know the exact specifics but around level 55 you start finding mobs that drop 15 azoth instead of 10 and drop more bottled azoth (not to mention if you get a few friends along and kill the mobs more quickly you will rack up coin drops as well). The auction houses being separated is indeed a pain at times but also good for money making if you are willing to think strategically. I would personally love a minimap instead of the buggy clogged up compass we have but at least resources really aren’t hard to see if you know what you’re looking for and you can continue autorunning while looking at the map.
apparently you can view other stores from the one you are stood at, just cant buy ? was told last night, not looked yet
yes in the top right of an auction house you can choose from each regions auction or choose to view all regions at the same time and when you look for an item it will tell you where it is located.
Yep you can, you can also view any of your storages the same way, even from the map screen while out in the world.
The azoth costs start to be fine later on when you own 1 or 2 homes and can reset the recall to them from anywhere in the world for 10-30 azoth usually, you dont even need to be at a shrine for it.
i have 3 storage towns, now all full with some materials unable to process due to no T4 or 5 stations that i need, when there is one, invasions take them away quickly… hope its better in a week or 2
diff banks are not too bad, IF your faction owns towns you can transfer stuff for a small fee & wait time… the problem is that im in the smallest faction on a server and that storage solution is not available, and cost to travel is horrendous when carrying stuff… that severely limits the smaller factions… which is unfair… probably leading to only 2 factions on some servers which would be a shame…
but yes, the trade posts… what a horror show… not only bcos most ppl just put junk in there, there is no proper filter search system so we can search for particular stats… perks are great but how many times u search those and the gear has 2 other stats (which prob dont work together either)… its a poor system, enhanced by the difficulty to craft your own level gear when you cant find any on stores and loot drops are always wrong stats and/or perks, or just too low GS…
ive not farmed elites, but am L56 and am struggling so much to find better gear than my L46 stuff… a global trade would be ideal but i dont mind local stores if the search options made it efficient to look…
I’m surprised that so many people dislike the different storage/market design. I just take it as it is, i think it is a viable concept. As many people mentioned, this creates different local economy in areas. You can buy potatoes in Everfall for 2g, and sell them in Monarch Bluffs for 5g or whatever. Again, if your storage and markets were connected, why would you ever leave the city your company/faction holds?
Weight limits. Is there any MMO that has unlimited bags capacity? Like you’re running around with 10k ores, herbs, a hundred armor pieces? Even with just three T3 bags you can carry about 650 pounds which is honestly sufficient even deep into lvl 60. I do iron farming runs and bring back over 2k ores per run.
Azoth - I would agree 1000 cap seems a bit low with the prices of traveling, but you just have to be smart about it. Think strategically - okay, i’m gonna dump all of the cooking and arcane stuff into this city because i’m not going to use it now, and its just taking space in my home city which i will fill with the items i need now instead. With 4 iron chests in my house, my home town capacity is around 2.3k - that’s just enough.
Get yourself tools with azoth return - at least for harvesting, logging and skinning, as you will get quite a bit of azoth just by going on a skinning run.
If you have some suspended azoth potions - save them for the time you will absolutely need it. I have over 200 hours played, and have never had an issue that i was stuck in an area and couldn’t teleport to my inn or house, or closest settlement.
I do get a feeling sometimes that modern players just want a super simple no brain required fast food game experience, where everything is at your fingertip and all you have to do is press one button if you so desire.
