Different Item Converters

Just for a change of pace from all the - exploit this server wipe that.

A lot of you might be like me and spend a large portion of your time in 1 zone over most others.
My zone of choice is Windsward and I find ALOT of Sugar specifically and always find myself in need of other zone specific materials. Yeast has been the current thing I am always going to other zones for.

Wondering about peoples thoughts on adding additional (or other functions to current) Item converters for food stuffs. Any one think this would break anything? I can kinda see how you would want to keep certain materials to certain zones. The materials you can already use converters on drop everywhere (level specific of course) So that might be the key difference.

Just something I have found myself thinking about the past few days while going out to find yeast…need that cheese man.

Sounds like a great idea to me! Was always cinnamon and peppercorn I was running short on … always having to side trip down to Cutlass Keys.

Since the ability to convert refining materials already exists, it’s not like adding the ability to convert foodstuffs is any different.

Yay another “lets make the game easier” thread for a change.

Not really sure where you get the idea it would make anything “easier” would involve more farming if anything. Sense the converters make you lose 25% of any transfer.

And you have to buy them with PvP tokens, everyone always wants more of that, right? I just put the gratuitous trolls like the one you responded to on forever ignore.

Cleaning up the neighborhood

I know I wouldn’t mind something else to spend tokens on. I already have so many of the other converters saved up lol

This makes a lot of sense. As long as it is a one for one type swap/conversion., and only for same slot cooking reagents. Like you mentioned salt for sugar, or dill for rosemary. You are on to something!

And tier for tier. So we couldn’t just use the easy to get t1 honey for the higher end spices.

I can not deny that…its holds the spice slot 99% of the time =P

there should be a spice trade vendor where you can trade certain spices or ingredients for other ingredients an NPC is looking for. It can be similar to the town board, but you talk to an NPC and see what they’re looking for in exchange for something else. This way spices can still be somewhat exclusive without everyone just farming one type of ingredient and converting it.
