As I think that disabling character creation is pointless because servers that don’t reach prime time of 2,000 people are blocked, it seems to me that they are only doing it to avoid queues because screenshots of an hour-long queue are bad publicity for AGS.

The server I am on hits Max pop on a Sunday night, yet it’s locked.
Mind you the queue is only 100 players… So many friends can’t join in.
Agree, most of the locked servers arent even full, just open them so we can join our friends!!
Unfortunately they dug their own grave. At this rate with the passing of the days people will stop playing or go to another game. A shame.
Today there was already a notoriety in a smaller number of players, at least on the SA servers.

Something about sitting in queue, knowing your server is full af and stays full 24/7 makes me giddy like every night i am waiting for christmas morning to get in the game… And see tons of people everywhere
Now its like oh my server is 1500/2500 players, no queue and it goes up to 2000/2500 for 2 hours during primetime… Then back down to 1500 the rest of the day. Feels less exciting

It’s ridiculous. I have two friends 3 days waiting to play with my group. we are 8 and 2 of them are out. The server have 2500 slots and only 1500 are used in prime time. Its better the queue than the character disabled. They will lost a lot of people with this method. I hope that New world team read the many people arguing about this.

Yeahh this Character Creation disable is bullshit, Apophis is locked long time ago and population is dropping. This is how kill the Again and Again. The transfer lock is okay, but creation lock is unnecessary.

They don’t care about you wanna play friends. They are wanna only work less when players leave or refund the game. I think they enjoy how kill and kill again the playerbase
