It is and has been an issue for many people. you get disconnected from the game and click play within a few seconds. you get put back into whatever queue your server has.
I believe the game should have an innate forgiveness for random disconnections. If user A gets logged off and tries to reconnect within 5 minutes. user A gets bumped in the queue to the front.
I got dc’d 5 minutes ago. I am now 1200 in the queue, which equates to 5 hours and it is now impossible for me to play until tomorrow.
His suggestion is regarding grace priority in the queue for disconnects or crashes - a system used by many games before. A system that is almost inexcusable not to have, to be quite honest. I don’t think this statement is really a helpful response, but I appreciate you for trying.
Is there no plan to implement a grace login system for the game crashes which are mostly out of an end-user’s control?
I don’t have any information if that will be implemented into the game as of right now, but I will do my best to sent all the feedback we can get back to our devs!
Thank you very much for the response, and I appreciate all of the hard work from you & AGS. Lack of a grace period is the one unforgivable aspect of this launch, in my opinion - which is to say the game has been great overall.
