Don’t understand as I have my Firewall and A/V set to ignore NewWorld.exe but keep getting disconneted for this error and then can not log back in without restarting fromm desktop/steam

Open your steam library go to new world right click and click properties, then choose the local files tab in the window that opens and click verify integrity of game files.
Let steam do it’s thing and it will redownload any corrupted files.
The patch most likely corrupted a couple files and this will fix the issue.
I had the exact same issue after the patch and this fixed it, btw after verifying it found 3 corrupted files.
Basically the game is seeing a couple files that are not like they are suppose to be kind of like as if detecting a cheat so it is “soft banning” you and not letting you log and and if you do manage to log in it will kick you back out of game after a few mins until you do this.
I had 5 this time, even though till now everything patched fine. Rather annoying issue, not sure why the patching was problematic for quite a few people this time.

Dunno either, luckily you can do this to fix it rather than download the whole game again lol

For those of you that are still dealing with the Login Blocked error, try to:

Verify integrity of game files

If verification doesn’t work, try this:
a. Press the Start button
b. Go to “Settings” menu
c. Select “Network and Internet” feature
d. Click on “Status” tab
e. Go to “Change your network settings”
f. Select “Change adapter options*” feature
g. Right-click on your network connection
h. Select “Properties” from the list
i. Uncheck the “Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)” box
j. Restart your PC -
Reinstall Easy Anti-Cheat: Easy Anti-Cheat

Reinstall the whole game.
