If every weapon had anti-healer, anti-tank, and anti-range builds it would be fine, but they don’t currently.
Between a full team of 3 though you should be able to come up with a comp that works. It doesn’t need to have everything.

As a healer for wars i can play all classes and weapons.
The LS appears mechanically easy but game sense to use it, is not.
Knowing where to place heals while running away from a one shot healer killer and managing CDR so theres heals available takes as much real time experience as other weapons.
Show me a clip of you using it in pvp.

Yes, it would be fun, if you are talking about in the context of a video game. You could play rock OR paper OR scissors and be viable in all situations, and you could potentially beat anyone if you are the better player.
New world isn’t designed around rock paper scissors, though. Some builds counter other builds, but not all builds are countered.
The idea of rock, paper, scissors in video games is out-dated, anyway. Today, its more about having different playstyles; not one build (or hero) is better or counters the next build. Different builds should just play differently. They should all be more or less equal in terms of effectiveness. This allows people to play however they want and still be competitive.
Imagine hopping on the WoW forums and demanding healers be removed from arenas. You’d be laughed off the forums.
You’d also be laughed off of Twitch and any other community that existed. Some of the biggest and most popular streamers are arena healers.
Outdated but still relevant and still played by those rules to this day with no complaints about the way its played. Stood the test of time.

Ive seen multiple teams dominate without a healer too. All you need is really good burst dps and focus fire the healer or any person and the healer wont be able to keep up.
Triple DPS is way more consistent than 2 dps 1 healer. We are actively punished for performing well in our matches. Your class effectiveness isn’t gimped by 80-100% by the end of a round. Your kill pressure gets STRONGER. I’ve seen it, either their burst is so insane someone dies under 20% fortify OOP + Fortifying SG before your DE can finish casting or they just hard peel for eachother until your heals are gimped and then they go all out on you or the squishier dps. And yet despite this, you have people campaigning for nerfs. Nerf DE they say, nerf rapier more they say. These people will call Splash of Light OP some day.
The reality of healing. I appreciate you speaking the truth on these forums. It’s hard to do an decipher at times, but i just thank you for be one to do it.
