at first i was also against mounts but now sometimes it feels like im playing a walking simulator, its just horrible and i dont understand why some of you cant see that.
atleast rework the fast traveling, as i wrote it earlier in a post, remove the cost for using a shrine to shrine teleportations and the whole drama is done.
I’m not saying we dont need some form QoL during travels, personaly i liked the idea of carriages and movement buff on roads . I’m just against the idea of mounts as we know them cuz i know they will ruin a lot of things.
Just add underwater exploration.
The ground is saturated right now, and being able to explore underwater like Ubisoft’s open world or swim temporarily to reach an expedition area adds to the fun. I don’t think it’s fair to say that it’s not absolutely necessary. It’s okay to leave the possibility open.
Do not get me wrong, mounts will only be implemented when the map gets bigger. For now, no mounts.
While swimming, new crafting recipes and material = not really a need. new rare fishes and mobs = combat underwater is not really a need. New scenery = still not a need. everything about swimming is not really needed but additional content that is ONLY nice to have.
well yes, thats what devs also said, also they stated animals are too wild in New World and ppl are unable to tame them.
Mounts will come, but as the map is bigger, just hopefuly are added in non-invasive or bad way to ruin game.
and no, diving swimming content is not NEEDED , its like u said, nice to have, currently they should just focus on fixing whats broken. were just ideas to show you swimming can bring something to the table
