There are more lands to come which I think have more materials. The map will get a lot bigger when they will update it. Slowly tho.
well yes, thats what devs also said, also they stated animals are too wild in New World and ppl are unable to tame them.
Mounts will come, but as the map is bigger, just hopefuly are added in non-invasive or bad way to ruin game.
and no, diving swimming content is not NEEDED , its like u said, nice to have, currently they should just focus on fixing whats broken. were just ideas to show you swimming can bring something to the table

There is not yet, but there is a lot of potential for content that can be imagined and added.
but you know what is a good precursor without swimming? naval battles. imagine how important a ship can be when people cant swim. It would be epic 
i wonder why our guy doesnt know how to atleast float on the water, spits fire, ice, uses some weird magic to heal and yet doesnt know how to swim lol
you just want to swim but can’t think of anything that swimming can be useful.
because of the curse, when they are in water, they feel very heavy
it can be useful as a shortcut

We don’t know Amazon’s roadmap, but the concept of the game is to explore the unknown.
The navigation area is likely to be added as a different concept in different environments.
Well, you don’t need swimming at this point because you haven’t added any content that requires swimming yet.
I agree with that idea and I also agree with your opinion that this opinion mount is not necessary.
Swimming essentials may come out later.

anyways, let us be patient in waiting for amazon’s updates. The only thing I’m really excited for if they add a “want” content which is naval battles.
We need some way to deal with transporting materials between towns. We have to do that because we have such limited storage. So we need some better way to transport stuff
No mount no problem we still have some farm animals so hitch them up
Get your hiking boots on, Jimmy, we’re heading to Everfall. There already are numerous ways to increase storage capacity. Kind of on you to figure that out.
