Do not enough people do the PvE dungeons? Why do the heartrunes force me into PvE? Same exact hamster wheel as umbral shards

You could also get the rune the first run. Aside that, you do realize that 50k Azoth Salts are like 35 or so PvP tracks fully completed, right? That’s nearly a hundred OPRs, lmao

Edit: Also, forgot to mention that the vast majority of people that do PvE as their main activity in the game already have 8k Materia stored away, if not more.

They already tried it and it didn’t work.

Yes the idea of full loot PvP is awesome.

But in reality you just get a load of griefers making the game experience worse for others.

They made it very stupidly.

Open world pvp system should be literally like in Lineage2 and you have no problems with griefing and all things mentioned above.

There should be unique bind on pickup gear in there, stuff you can’t get/craft anywhere else (I know there is kit with PVP only perks) Leggy stuff not salvage fodder. Not even worth doing for skins as their Transmog excludes dropped kit if be honest.

But nobody is complaining about acquiring bis equips or money.

We just want to experience the new heartrunes without doing something we dislike.

Experience it for yourself:
Go do something you hate in game for 20-30 minutes (duration of an expedition). Roll a 10 sided die. If you get a 10 mark it down. Do this until you have as many marks as heartrune gems. This is what people who hate dungeons will have to do to get heartrunes.

They don’t go away if I want to try out a new one do they? Like I only have to farm each one once I hope?

In PTR you could aquire all basic runes through the questline. I know PVE again, but no dungeon required if you don’t want all 15 different variants

Same thing with timeless shards… why can’t I get them in opr caches? They are way to expensive already and are going to rise even more with the golden scarabs being released soon. I don’t want to run hundred of dungeons and elite trains to craft me some gear. I’m totally fine with gathering my resources but I don’t wanna bother anymore with killing the same mobs and opening chests all the time. The game right now is way to pve focused and pvp only player are at a big disadvantage. Why don’t we have some powerful items you only drop by doing pvp? You basically are forced to run m10s otherwise you can’t keep up with anyone doing them. You drop like 15+ items and like 5 are legos wich can sell for 30k+. Not to mention the shitload of umbral and timeless you get. Yet there’s me trying to stay competitive grinding opr and arenas wich basically reward me nothing. Worst part is you can’t even sell anything from opr caches because all is bop, wich again is another disadvantage to pvp player

I think I could go on forever with this rant but I guess nobody cares about pvp players

Yes I don’t want to play pve content but I have to, that’s the problem my guy. If you don’t want to play pvp content, that’s fine because you don’t miss out on anything, but if i don’t run elite trains or dungeons I basically can’t craft any gear, that’s the problem

Crafting is based on ingredients gotten from Environment-the game environment-all those rocks, trees,boss/expedition boss etc.etc.
Player versus Environment -PVE

All those crafting items you buy from the trading post are players who harvest/get resources from the enviorment (PVE)

Actually it just goes to one thing.
Can players buy the heart runes in trading post.

Like I said, I’m fine with gathering and I enjoy it, because I can flag up and take out competitors (if they even dare to flag up)

It’s a non-competitive game-mode that you can just adjust the slider for the mobs.

Need the dungeon to be easier? reduce mob health by 10%.
