you literally were given arenas, special bonuses if flagged for gathering, pvp reward track, gypsium for pvp, and all weapon balance changes are made because of pvp.
the devs are working on pvp all the time.

But 1 opr map and 1 arena map and great cleave and forts nerfed…
We just want content man. PvE gets frequent content updates. New expeditions. Mutations. Open world POI
Pvp only had 1 single content update since launch and it was arenas and they didn’t put any effort into it. Just a single mode. 3v3. Just 1 tiny map. No ranks. No leaderboards. No matchmaking. … They spent 2 days making arenas.

Now for horizontal getting, i"m ALL for selling them in trading post to players who don’t want to do expeditions.

Many of us do play things that we don’t like because we want things locked behind a certain mode. bOwPR anyone? Why are we forced into that shit mode as the most efficient way to farm the reward track?
If you think opr is the best way to level reward track you’re wrong
Go capture forts and get open world kills to level reward track
Because PvE is not competitive. What is there to balance around? changing internals of the dungeon would make more sense than altering weapons lol

The real truth is that 20 minutes of PvE in a STANDARD dungeon will make you more than you can make all week in PvP. Why is PvE such a welfare game mode. We are funneled into it. It’s FULL of gold and expertise and character upgrades. All for something that isn’t even competitive. Without PvE this game could have rewards from other parts of the game. We wouldnt have wasted dev time developing new dungeons that some pixel hunter memorizes in 5 runs. PvE is a massive time sink and REALLY hurts the game.
Heartrunes is just the newest way for PvP players to get funneled into PvE content.
I think ur mistaking the reward track for something that is good. It’s not good and is more of a bonus for people who already enjoy PvP. I think I use like 3 pieces from my PvP track after 180 levels lol.
So true. The only good rewards in pvp track are 3-4 named items and then gold. Everything else is garbage.
Yes forts give decent XP but who wants to stand AFK in a fort, 95% of the time nobody comes. People who think that’s a way (of even PvP town quests) to farm are PvP bots.
I think you start to realize it by yourself right? Nobody wants to do pvp because it’s unrewarding
And we need to farm a PvE dungeon for a single ability. Seems reasonable.

PVP players love farming PVE players in OPR, 3v3 or wars which PVE players are forced to do to get some of the op rewards - but if its other way around then its bad ?

So they are making PvE rewarding and incentivize running it. What’s they issue? I play both modes, there is no problem. There is 1 thing you need to farm, the other items can be bought. The chance of getting it is fairly high

PvP rewards are forced to be limited because PvE NEEDS incentive.
Imagine if the same items dropped from PvP for the same amount of effort of PvE. One OPR for 30 minutes and you get a 10% at your heartrune and 3-5 legendaries. Not to mention all the misc. drops. Throw in some resource nodes for good measure.
Does anyone remember the dungeon engagement numbers before the umbral shard update? I believe it was 3% of the playerbase had completed lazarus. PvE NEEDS these rewards or engagement will not be high enough. The actual gameplay content is not why people play, but simply the rewards.
People play PvP for the actual gameplay/combat. If it had competitive rewards PvE would be left in the dust.

PvE is literally on a welfare system that offers increased rewards over ANY OTHER game mode. Simple because there is not enough participants throughout the game.
Champions Amulet for example ? Probably the fastest example. Need more? Go look on nwdb for some nice hatchets or other weapons which you can only get from war spoil chests … should i continue ?
I also would like to point out that OPR contains PvE.
You can join and kill mobs and NEVER have an encounter with another player.
Like even PvP modes contain PvE for those specific people who want rewards but do not want to PvP.

Yep please continue and name more of the “OP items”. Champions amulet is only good for melee. And you lose your divine perk. Many Melee swap on and off the champions amulet depending on what content and if they feel they need the 10% increased healing.
Better run 2 m10s and you got better gear you’ll get from a week of opr caches
Champions ring and wildfire torch are the only „op“ drops from pvp
