Do not enough people do the PvE dungeons? Why do the heartrunes force me into PvE? Same exact hamster wheel as umbral shards

lets not just fear the unknown and be a fear mongerer for no reason.

Please see above where I do not complain about the two hours of solo questing, but have no desire to do dungeons for 10% drop chance.

So we’re gonna just pretend that forced PvP zones isn’t a very common request by pvpers?

Yeah but that isn’t a zone you’re forced to walk into. You have the rest of the map which is opt In. Again with the moaning PvE crying. Pvpers can’t have even one little pvp zone without pvers crying their heart out

This is not true. You can totally do what PvPers like myself do when we want to PvP. Turn New World off and go play PvP in another MMO or game.

But AGS is highly pushing the forcing of PvPers to do massive amounts of PvE content to be viable for PvP. So, in that sense, AGS the Developers have clearly made it YOU WHO WANT TO BE VIABLE IN PVP IN THIS GAME WILL HAVE TO DO UNTOLD HOURS OF PVE.

Now with that in mind. All of you who are against the idea of having to do massive amounts of PvE to do PvP. Have quite a few options outside of New World.

Just don’t go there if they ever add that zone lol, no disadvantage for you, you can still use the rest of the map unflagged

Expeditions are a LOT easier now with everyone 600+ GS. The normal modes especially.

Tempest and Laz can be cleared on normal In like 15 minutes.

exactly so why not just add 5% drop chance to OPR cache? What’s the downside?

I enjoy the PvP and PvE aspects of the game currently - Im also super excited for future PvP maps/game modes

But talking like this is just creating division between the two groups

Please be mindful of that before you spread toxicity like this

If it works for pveers it might work for pvpers too

You know there are perks for crafting weapons/armor from the pvp track, that players cannot get anywhere else?

Two examples Tonic of Levi and Ruby Tonic

Now there are other perks that might come close to those, but those are player specific perks. Unlike other perks.
How good they are blah blah, doesn’t matter, but crafter/players must do the pvp track to get them.

I consider this fair.

Im thinking the more we talk about how we can bring BOTH groups together, the sooner we can cultivate some really great ideas to show AGS what we want.

But we have to be on a unified front.

It doesn’t hurt mine at all.
What it means is that progression on the gem is not there.
You get the heartgem basic through a questline.

Now upgrading the gem is part of the crafting experience, and like weapons and gear, requires environment resources.

I was just trying to help. AGS have been blatantly biased against PvPers in the past. Just look at all of the past design changes. You people can just continue to complain about this in vain. Or you can come to terms with reality, as many of us did, and adapt.

Maybe I’m just hostile because everytime we create pvp topics on this forum a small gang of anti pvp’ers rush in and troll us and tell us to quit the game.

I agree that unified front needs to happen. But then the PvE community needs to stop being so damn toxic against pvpers. We always suggest ideas that don’t negatively impact PvErs and are always met with toxic pve’ers response

Personally I dont see a problem with this. Neither is it a “desperate attempt to make people do dungeons”.
The reason why heartrunes are probably dungeon drops is because of the opposite of what you stated. PVE IS and will always be the much superior content to keep players involved. It will always bring and keep more players than pvp content in mmos.

  • all the abilities are themed after the dungeons they come from, so wouldnt make sense if you get them anywhere else.

With this being said, Its not really hard to get at all.

Long story short, either deal with the fact that you dont want to work for an item in an mmo or suck it up and do it lol
