Yeah, I may have borrowed a catchy title from the other thread but please notice the missing in.
I have enjoyed the sight and sound of falling trees when I started my logging journey. But now I am in 160s and it is really dull and boring, I need to be logging all the time, to process wyrdwood from wooden wolves and to make more charcoal, but it is not fun. I am sick when I see common trees. Wyrdwoods are fine, they are quite rare and give nice xp, but normal trees are so boring and I have no idea what to do with the spare sap!
My main issue is, when I am travelling (and I travel a lot), I get excited about hemp, I may even kill some animals for hides and rare meat, and I simply cannot resist iron nodes… but I ignore trees. There is too many of them. There is no fear of not logging them. Even if group of enthusiastic axe wielders come by, I know the trees will be back in minutes and there is more tree not far away. But I do need the charcoal and wood. So I force myself to chop some, but it is tedious…
I think we need some special trees. Big and majestic, both old and young, that will be somewhat rare, but more rewarding, with more xp and more wood and perhaps a chance of some rare drop or higher tier wood…(like some animals drop 30 rawhides and 5 thick hides, those are great).
Please, make logging great again.
