it happens to any weapon user… it just happens more often to melee because they get more hits.

You clearly never played any ranged weapon.
The farther you are, more allies you have infront, the crosshair stays the same, the enemies are smaller. Bow is even worse because has the longest delay between the start and the arrival of the arrow. It basically becomes much harder to hit people. Most damage you receive is because the players (one way or another) even headshot you.
The easiest way is… go behind trees,walls, LEAFS. and there the enemy is playing with atleast one person less.
You have no idea how many places bullets stop in OPR even if you can see through
But if you are really compelled to kill ranged people, just make a small group of 2-3 people and go together to get them. You will kill them all because they are alone and an easy prey. No sniper will ever stand next to another…
I believe you won’t like my suggestion since… you will be out of the fight, dealing overall less damage and gaining less kills at the end of OPR.
I play bow I have every weapon maxed execpt life staff and voidg. Usually for entire OPR as bowman I will die maybe 2 times, sometimes 0. Playing GA/WH is hard without correct team, with randoms we are mostly out of healers, or they just focus healing themselves dont care about teammates, thats why I am dying 5-10 times as melee, also maybe thats why ppl complaing about difficult of playing melee in OPR.
As you should also be ranged… make it clear.
The aim in siege/OPR is to win. If people do not agree/understand this i believe any balance talk is useless.
I believe we agree that the melee are who carry and win the games/wars.

If something should be nerfed cause a class shouldn’t carry all the rest. You should need a heterogenic composition of all classes to win.
Having no mage or having no need for rangeds already show a balance problem.
Ranged players should force the enemy to split the damage of the opponent, between the first line and them. This is not needed.
Melees: you win and you say it’s hard, ranged do not even have that option.
for those that don’t play bow that’s how you see STANDING targets at 40m with a bow.
you see the crosshair but not the target. and you need to aim on the nametag (if it appears)
Bow skills like: “Long range” and “Arrow Range” clearly want to award the difficulty of aiming.

Great Axe was needing a nerf since the beta. The fact You can just spam left mouse and your enemy can’t escape from You, it is OP. The fact You can wear a heavy armor, and get 30% speed boost with 15% dmg boost only by looking at someone is a bad joke against all people who chose to wear light armors.
If You can not see and can not admit it, then it only means, You guys are blinded GA users who want to keep playing like brainless.
It will be nerfed and better get used to it.
And try at least once, take a look on other weapon, try it, and then come back here and tell me again, that Great Axe doesnt need a nerf.

The lunge on GA has been broken OP all along, if that’s all you can play maybe you should move to Hello Kitty Online.
yes and no if you think this is a nerf you don’t know pvp this is a balance. the left click spam is to magnetic causing you to just bypass ice walls and crap
This. Please. 180o shift to 50% of the weapons on every patch will never achieve a decent balance. Don’t rush to please players.
Small, incremental and measurable changes. Start with light attack track and lunge.
Also, some combos are too hard or impossible to catch and gaxe big nerf will make it worse. Rapier+FS combo with medium/light gear on open world for one.
Balance is difficult and never perfect, small changes.
PS: I’m not a gaxe user. I’m a healer, major victim of gaxe uses.
