This nerf changes what? Their BS +30% speed in heavy armor, making this class the most mobile class in the game while being actually a tank. And it nerfs a little bit brainless LMB clicking that never was intended for sure lol.

My honest opinion? I have used neither weapon myself. Is the combo of GA WH too well done, yes. So some type of nerfing needs to occur. However; AGS is always too heavy handed with their nerfs. If you want to throw a fit, rather than insulting your fellow players, put out a good argument and hope that you get through to them. You obviously are not a crafter, because the nerf they threw at us makes your crying like you are into a puppet show.
I do not have to use the weapons to have an opinion. I have had them used on me, which is where my valid opinion comes from. Thank you however, I was feeling too mighty over here with my spear and rapier. Now my toes feel like a donkey just stomped on them. I will be over here getting a foot rub. Please, continue on your whine fest my dear three year old.

Muskets cant capture the point, so it will never come to OPR full of muskets. You can have tons of muskets in your team dealing tons of damage from 100 meters, but youâll never win that OPR )
Also full dps musket Light armor 5 con deals 1500 headshot dmg to HA that can be just ignored by GA WH players.
After GA WH nerfs, we need mages to come back, maybe revert their nerfs, so we have muskets healers mages and GA/WH tanks ~~~~~~~~ balanced in amount and impact. Also spear buff is coming, right? Feels like devs know what they do now (finally)

every weapon should have his pro and cons.
great axe is supposed to be melee and aoe.
bow and musket are supposed to be ranged.
there are supposed to exist other classes to counter ranged classes, like sword/shield or healers.
if it annoys you that much, change on weapon to ga and you will start to ignore ranged weapons.
but you probably want your class to beat ALL others, not a real balance.
If actually want to complain, ask for the musket exploit to be fixed and for aimbots to be banned.
Then we can talk about balance.

I have played GA since open beta. I agree that it is a bit overtuned on live. However the lunge nerf seems a bit excessive. Seems it was nerfed with 3.5 m instead of leaving it at 3.5 m. As a melee player we are dependant on being able to stick on target, especially with the poor performance in OPR and wars with rubberbanding and such. The GA is the only weapon that enables us to do that. I also wonder how I am supposed to catch up to bow/musket users with the nerfed bloodlust speed⌠I can not catch them as it is.

well i also think spear is fine when it comes to 1v1, but canât see that mutch spear users in OPR, and as i know devs already planning buff spear. And actually, why not? It becomes stronger vs GA WH => profit. It changes nothing vs rapier cause thatâs skill based duel of dodges riposte etc => profit. No idea how it affect pvp vs magesâŚ

i donât know what happened at beginning of the game⌠i think that sword/shield is a undervalued class, maybe just overshadowed by other melee weapons at the moment.
sword/shield give damage buff, protect from projectiles (lifestaff fire ice void musket bow )
due to the lack of projectile users, they are not really needed at the moment indeed there are not a lot of shield users in the OPR of my server.

if you are GA WH user, u have 5 CC abilities out of 6 buttons, perma 20% MS towards them and great closeup ability. Iâm sure you can figure out how to closeup. This nerf is about those musket/bow users being able to survive after you closeup once, not about removing your LMB

But theres the thing if you let a melee in melee range you should by definition be dead as a bow / musket player. Period.
well it seems thatâs exactly what they did. Since the lunge is closer to 1m instead of 3.5m.
All ranged? No, that is why an axe should not be able to catch up to a light armor user unless they mess up. Now even the GA is ranged in a way.

What i believe is that set the average damage that should be dealt to kill someone, every weapon should be balanced on it. As few weapons are op atm, be it for unbalance or using exploits⌠are those that should be fixed/balanced, and not the spear boosted. The hachet disappeared completely from OPR since the bug is gone. The few i see, use it just for the 3 seconds god mode, almost never used for dealing damage/buffs.
I stopped to play with GA / Hatchet cuz i feel like a monkey playing, clicking and following the target like a crazy⌠no inteligence to play like all others weapons⌠GA need to be nerfed
