  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: It sporadically occurs on my character and will oddly also occur on my Alt character at the same time. Re-speccing does not resolve the issue.

  • When did this happen? Issue first occured around 10/10/22 before Brimstone update

I’d like to give the bow and the musket hastes the ol evade treatment. Dodge attack = get haste.

I had this happen before brimstone recently. It was giving a damage absorb buff instead. I had to verify files via steam and then it worked again

This same thing happened to me last night after buying Starmental Chisels.

I have tried unlearning my skills and re-specializing them: No Effect. I have restarted the game: No Effect. I have verified the integrity of my game files: No Effect. I have uninstalled the game entirely and then reinstalled it: NO effect.

In my case, the issue is not isolated to “Dodge and Weave”. “Evasive Tactics” (empower), food buffs, honing stone buffs, weapon coating buffs, and any other buff with a timer on it is no longer visible or trackable. Neither the buff icons nor the on-character visual effects like glowing hands from empowers are on display anymore.

Any update on this? I just unlocked this passive on fresh start server and like others, it doesn’t work. As a returning player pretty frustrating these kind of bugs are still in the game.

Toggle the auto sync of your operating system clock (i.e.- Windows) off/on. Then select “Sync Now”. Do these while your game is entirely not running. Once complete, relaunch the game.

It works even when the game is running, it fixes the issue with speed buff on roads as well… if you just leave your character on auto-run and sync the time, 2 secs later the speed icon pops up.

Leaving the game open will produce varying results. Having the game closed during this process ensures an effective solution.

Holly crap - why is this not stickied! None of the haste passives where working for me - thank you so much

@Arcane13 Victis suggestion of the clock auto sync did fix it. None of the haste passives were working for me even the road running one. Not sure why the clock sync worked but it did.
