I do not think the light armor change is good, but I recognize I might be an outlier. Do you like it or not?

Its super op. I can literally leave any fight.
It can still be a bit ice skatey but whether it’s good depends on what the developers were going for. If they were trying to distinguish the armor classes such that heavy is for tanking, light is for kiting/chasing, and medium is for in-combat evasiveness, then they did a fine job of that. I would just further polish them and remove the remaining sliding from the light roll and shorten up the medium ending animation a tad.
It feels pretty bad right now. Much of the animation canceling I’m used to using in melee range doesn’t work anymore with light armor. Meanwhile it adds infinite kiting ability for ranged players to remain non-interactive.
The skating part of the animation just shouldn’t be there, really. I think removing the requirement to switch weapons mid-roll was a good change, but making us slide in the same direction for an extra half a second after the roll animation is over just feels silly.
I enjoy it, once you’re use to it. It does become easier while skipping the weapon swap to animate-cancel. Just needs a little fine-tuning.

Its very bad. Feeling of it is trash. If not the ice part change would be very good. But we have ice part so its worse than before.
I like it in general. Needs some adjustments but overall fells much better.
Of course lag and desync still a big problem, and in some cases I dodge roll and go SUPER far. But I know that was a desync. Not a game mechanic.
Compared to medium dodge it’s literally 2 worlds. I used to dodge / swap bow to get 5sec haste . At the moment, using dodge swap or no swap make my dodge slow as fuck. What happened to medium armor dodge ? Everyone about to play in light armor guaranteed
