Does it make sense to write game ideas?)

They do read it but that doesnt mean theyre going to implement it. Examples of things they have added based on user feedback: inventory while walking, extra ability key (heartrunes), open world bosses, new tradeskills (music), timeless shards and scarabs to make crafting easier, trading post search bar, balance changes and more. Also upcoming: gear set storage, transmog, raid groups

Well, I’ll try to write some ideas, let’s see what happens)

What other than transmog is being worked on? also we have absolutely 0 info on what their vision is with transmogs.

The moment it will drop on PTR, is the way it will launch.
Like 99% of the stuff they put on PTR.

they usually, land in the Bin, called " send it to the Dev’s"

Yea… dont you think its pretty unrealistic for them to go and edit whole features in a month or less? :joy:

There is definitely a company rework coming as in a datamine leak from a few months ago a new tier 5 house that has unlimited storage was mentioned, most likely a guild house

That’s what I’m saying, be like OSRS and share your vision, before spending countless of hours designing something, that you know you can’t change within the launch date.

This is nice to hear, thank you for the info :hearts:

They add the features and their implementations based on feedback already though, also very often community feedback is conflicting so besides the fact theyd be spoiling the entire next year (or more) of content theyd also most likely not get too much useful feedback

Despite what folks say here there are examples of ideas being implemented. The problem is most players here seem to think development can implement new things on a dime.

Leader boards is something players specifically asked for now they claim they didnt. Big features like that dont happen over night.

Its worth putting any ideas you have down you might have an original idea that gets inplemented in a future update.

One thing is 100% certain, it won’t if you do not share your idea.

Yes, but not every single post. When they are inable to do so, the community team, which is extremely active, is constantly looking through the forums at idea’s etc. That data ends up back to the dev team.

Many suggestions i have given have been accepted by the ags team. An example of this is converting corruption portals into “more rare events with more value”. There are many examples. Ags is really doing an amazing job listening.

No. People did not ask for leaderboards, beyond the 3 posts @Penfold linked (with 0 likes).

And proof of this is the player numbers. AGS lost thousands of players after the leaderboard patch. 4-5 months of nothing, and they released a poorly implemented leaderboard?

And all it took was one person making the suggestion and AGS liking it to get it done.

Hmmm… maybe AGS doesnt like all the hate filled suggestions?

Correlation is not causation.

Every patch that has added desirable content has had a player increase. Every patch that hasn’t (most), has had a player decline. Doesn’t get much more straight forward than that.

There is a post made over an year ago regarding tanks, there are many posts made over 6 month ago with great pve and pvp features that got ignored.

They are working on balance change, which was requested by players for months.

Players asked for low azoth costs, TP filters, shared storage and nerfs. These are the things that got into the game through forum requests after players pushed them for months

Yes, OP. Post your ideas. They’ve been known to listen to our feedback on skins quite a bit.

There were amazing ideas and feedback even before the official launch of the game. They completely ignored most of it.

So? That theres a post about something doesnt mean they have to implement it :joy:

Maybe great to you? Id love to see those features as most of the pvp and pve features i see on this forum arent worth adding in

No, but they added mutations and leaderboards…when there are a lot better ideas from players…

No one besides me believes we need more monster variety, better dungeons, better weapon talent tree, better skins, better UI for character info, etc. These ideas are so bad they avoided them an entire year. I’m just the only one thinking that…

But when players complain about a quest being broken, or crying about some ring being OP. Man, they have the response time of a 911 call

Both of those were asked for by the community tho?

How the hell are they ignoring that? They went through the entire 1-25 leveling experience and added new mobs for more variety, the next dungeon getting added in the spring will also have varangian knights for the first time in endgame content, brimstone is also filled with brand new mobs of which none exist in other territories, better weapon trees are already a thing too? Did you not see the greatsword or something? And ui for character info isnt something they can add in a week bro :joy: its also not a high priority feature at all.

A quest being bugged is legit gamebreaking like what are you even on about? Obviously theyre gonna focus on fixing that :joy: and nerfing a ring is a balance change that required 1 line of code being changed
