Good morning was wondering if I put my luck gear on before opening gypsum casts would I have better gear drops? Thanks!
As far as i’m aware, luck only increases chances on “Named” item drops. I don’t know that casts can ever drop a named item. So i would assume no, it does not.
Someone please feel free to correct me on this.

Casts do not affect the quality of loot only the chance of loot. Since a single item is guaranteed and it’s RNG on how it rolls. Based on what we’ve been told I would assume it does not. The changes to RNG recently on casts has had a profound impact on the quality of loot coming out of them. I have gotten more Leggos in the last week from casts than i’ve gotten the entire last four months at level 60. It’s stark contrast.

I would say go for it and try putting on your luck gear before cracking them open. I too have been getting some stellar legendary jewelry from the casts, so there def is a good, RNG formula at play. Unlike corrupted caches and outpost rush cahces, the description/tool tip does not specify luck gear not impacting the outcome of the casts. Thus, it could very well be worth the effort!

I got a ring, and amulet yesterday, both leggos that were incredible replacements for what i had.

i opened about 280 casts yesterday and got 31 legendarys
so the chance for legendary is like 1:10

On test server it was around 25 %
Luck affects so that AGS does the job well and the experience hits work as they promised they would haha
How does this happen. I have opened so many casts and get a ton of blue and even green items. Never snagged an orange. Is there something I am doing wrong, or does RNGeezus just hate me?
