Does spear sweep attack work exactly?

I’m wondering if the 2nd part of the sweep attack (using talent “COUP DE GRÂCE”) counts as backstab damage? Theoretically I think it would make sense and I know that next patch it will apply heavy attack passives, but does it count as backstab damage considering the opponent is laying face down on the ground? lol
