Does the Wall Glyph's matter in Ennead Mutations

I was just tanking a Mutation 1 Ennead run and was clearing all the rooms that had the wall glyphs (The ones that give you extra chest in normal) and I had some group members saying it didn’t matter.

I kept doing them, just to be safe. This caused some issues in the group.

My question is - Do you need to do the glyphs still in mutations?
or is it a waste of time?
Do you get extra loot at the end?

I am just curious to know the answer for future runs.

I have just finished an M10 i joined. I wondered this too but my group didnt interact with it so I ignored it. But we get the loot at the end so I think it serves no purpose in mutations.

Can anyone provide an update on this or some confirmation on whether getting all the glyphs in Ennead muts matters or does anything?
