Don’t timegate gypsum! Let the market determine which end game content people want to do

So devs timegating Gypsum to force people to do diverse contents.

Rather than limit how much one can earn daily. they should tie the contents to exclusive perk/item shard drops.

If people do too much of a content the value of a resources will go down therefore force others to farm more lucrative contents.

After each major release the devs can move the exclusive drops around to content they want more players.

This gypsum and expertise system should have been in the game from the start, but that’s irrelevant at this point.

I’m pretty forgiving and would love for NW to succeed; but as someone who has never played a game with timegated content, this crap sucks. I hit 200 in 3 refining skills recently and each legendary MAT I need to craft is like 2-3 hours between the cooldowns.
Add another cool down for collecting the trees (diamond gypsum) and that useless stupid topaz gypsum potion which is a fucking joke in and of itself, and lastly the elite chest cooldown and the whole game is a cooldown…
So much so you only bother to hop on every 2, maybe 3-4 days to get them all done at the same time. I don’t understand why timegating everything is their idea but realistically the only 3 things that should be on a GLOBAL or server-specific cooldown is crafting dungeon orbs, your choice of your expertise bump, and elite chests.

The rest is unnecessary and I believe the more added content to be put behind crappy timegated systems the more players they loose. Eventually people won’t log on because it’s less rewarding for even more of a grind.
