new servers imo wont do anything it would last like one month then everyones bored again, my suggestion is that ags should open up a new mode when u create a character with restrictions like how runescape has Ironman Mode
you would basically build your char from nothing with no player to player trading, you grind for every piece of gear gold mat etc. which is more fulfilling imo
they also have hardcore which is one life.
i think that would be dope, way better than new servers lol
The thing is people want to play casually, this MMO is not meant to be tryhard/hardcore. Since minute 1 you get all served and you dont need to spend months to enjoy it, trying to shift that core to a more tryhard core is whats killing the vibe for casual MMO players. Yet, people will come again because the fresh starts include a 50% faster leveling experience
PVP server first and we can agree to make your iron man server.

Its pretty clear that we “need” fresh servers when we see the hype around it. Thousands of players are just sitting on the sideline and waiting for that and are never going to join a “dirty” or legacy server.
Im sure your right that some players are going to stop after one month but thats common in MMO, but im also sure that alot of players are going to stay for more then one month.
You have to see that alot of players are not tired of the content ingame but the unbalance from a bad economy for the last year.
Also sure there is going to be no lifers on fresh server, just like all other servers and MMO.
