Musket enjoyers would switch to bow if musket got deleted so might as well #deleteBow
Without cheats, bow is much stronger than musket.
As it should be, since it requires more skill versus Hitscan. Remove Hitscan, buff Musket, easy solution to both issues.

I’m sorry you have had a bad experience with ranged classes, particularly Dex based ones. But deleting them is not the answer.

Best solution would be to balance teams in OpR so there won’t be 15-20 bows and musket in a team

This would probably be the most impactful change.
Bow just need slight rework, magic weapons need more love so that range weapons do not focus only on bow and muskets.
Bow need nerf too
without a true assassin class to keep ranged in check OPR will always be majority ranged. Its literally been like that since they nerfed the SnS leaping strike stagger, and OPR has been unplayable/not fun ever since.
Bow damage is too high same with musket, they are both gonna get the nerf bat. They could probably start with just base damage nerf of musket by 15% and then remove the empower on roll perk that the bow has on top of deleting mortal empowerment. See how things are and then readjust from there.
Once again, not everything should be about PvP.
This isn’t a PvE game, you level, get expertise, run mutators (recycled content) to gear up for PvP and make new PvP sets. What part of the game feels like a good and genuine PvE experience? It’s a barrier to get into PvP. Maybe in the future that will not be the case but it is right now.
Regardless, bows are already trash in PvE compared to other DPS weapons, they need to create/rework weapon and item perks that have “Does X amount of bonus damage, reduced to X amount in PvP”.
In the current state, OPR is plagued with Bows and Muskets doing half of your health in damage with one shot if geared properly, and reworking the entire perk system isn’t going to happen overnight, so I do assume as a quick fix both will be getting nerfed.

You are wrong. This game is both PVE and PVP. You level, get expertise, run mutators to level up your equipment, regardless of whether that equipment is going to be used in PVP or in PVE.
Sorry but you are wrong. You don’t need level 60 Mutated Dungeons in a PvP game.
You don’t need a dozen different crafting skills and music to be in a PvP game.
Etc.
All I’m saying is that don’t screw over PvE play just because the PvP community has an issue. There is very little wrong with any of those weapons in PvE.
MAYBE Amazon could fix it so that when you are flagged for PvP, then the “nerf” happens, but once you are unflagged, the nerf goes away.
