This is the 4th time I reached level 60, takes a few days. I dont know what this 1.5 exp boost is for actually.

majority of gamers are playing their “main” and not multiple characters on different servers. The time you use to play on another server is not invested in your main is what im saying.
To reach 60 in 1 day… same story with expertise its 2-3 days of grinding Genesis to get 600… + you will end with a nice pack of good gear/ sometimes BIS gear and ~ 100-120k gold
A streamer might see it as “advice” but they usually forget the influence they have over their audience.
“I was just giving (bad) advice” = “I told everyone to hate AGS for releasing FSS 2 weeks late and flame on reddit and the forum”
Exactly. 1.5 XP is literally nothing. I don’t understand why people are making it seem like a massive reason to play now.
The game is still in the state as a month ago (even with the XP boost), so if a new player didn’t join back then they won’t join right now.

English is not my first language. Out of respect, i try to google lots of words being used by myself or others to 100% make sure what is said is accurate.
“influencing” needs a response. A response is something we decide to give. Part of becoming more aware of oneself and other people is to learn and watch out for passive and active manipulation.
At the end of the day, no one but yourself is responsible for taking action. I do not support aggressive manipulation. But as i have stated; i have not seen that from YouTubers i have been watching.
If @Axdall did not mean to use “force”, my comment and the issue is resolved. If he did mean it, it remains valid.

For me, I’m waiting till November 2. I will take a peek when BS releases on the 18th but I have already deleted all my characters. I have been in and out with this game and the only way I will try and play it through is with the FSS in November. Why do it twice. I can do other things while waiting…just saying.

Well, I would say,

Learning resource locations (which will be important on fresh server because there will be a competition for low-end tier resources like iron ore )

Crafting basics like when you pass higher tier tools like pick, sickle etc.

If you are undecided on which weapons to use at the beginning, you can try them.

Giving a shot on playstyles like what you are going to be. Will you like pvp ? Will you like crafting ? will you like dungeons ?

If you are going to rush leveling on fresh start, you may want to slowly progress and learn some lore on this time.

Take a look on new content on its release day with being end-game. There is still enough time.

Giving economy a shot.
It may be a decision time for a new player if they don’t want to waste anything on fresh start server. It might be vice-versa tho. They may think they will waste first glance if they try it now. It is their decision and both have advantages and disadvantages.
It is not doing things twice in my opinion tho.

People who suggest leveling now and restart on Fresh server from the very beginning - do you guys have jobs or/and families? Looks like you have 48 hours in a day unlike me who has just 24 hours in a day, full time job and other stuff to do. Or at least you don’t sleep at all.

It starts to overwhelm when people thinks like leveling is just a burden and not part of the game and it is too common on MMO community.
Personally, I love leveling more than end-game tbh you feel acutally playing the game because you have a cause to reach somewhere and everything is new for you which means more dopamine and you can’t do it again with that character. It is just one time content that you play. On end game of MMOs, it is simply grinding and repeating all over again and again until a new content drops unlike leveling and You can do them whenever you want which is not valid for leveling. You get 60, did all sidequests and got all the experiences, you can’t do those again even if you love most.
It is about perspective. If leveling is burden for you and doesn’t make you feel you are playing until end-game, there is nothing to do i guess.
Yes! Now is a great time to play, the exp boost is helping ALOT of players right now and they will have 600 expertise with decent gear before brimstone.
Im just so stoked to jump into the new area - I have been avoiding PTR so there’s some surprises when I get there.
I say AGS should get rid of the Level Grind altogether since people want to get through it as fast as possible to get to the real game. Just take it out. No need for EXP booster if the EXP grind was fun, which it isnt.
Teleport from city to city to buy the materials from the auction house to make board missions, since everything is cheap anyway because people have infinite materials to control the auction house and set the prices. Mhmmmmmmmm yeah what a great experience for new players
