When people complain about new world they add that there is no dual hand weapon.
Would it be hard to make hatchet double wield weapon only as a visual?
Just add second hatchet to other hand when using hatchet.

dang beat me to it! I’ll agree though hold that tiny hatchet in one hand is rather dumb looking.

Spent a lot time and effort on that darn thing, and it’s plain terrible.
Before giving us two, fix the one.
I’d love to see a dual hatchet with appropriate damage scaling, I’m not even scratching the 600ish GS players.
Give us the ability to use Shield Hatchet that would be nice too.
Hathchet is broke tho, it needs attention.

Original concept was to make hatchet 1-handed so that it could use the shield, but it was too OP. This would kill the sword’s viability.
One out of every two attacks don’t detect, so I guess this would balance things out.
