Download patch to disk C:

Game installed on disk D, but patch downloading to disk C.
I have not enough space on disk C. I uninstalled all programs from disk C, accept Chrome…
I reinstall game every patch, so no problem… just interesting, why C, if Game on disk D?

P.S. i will buy new disk, so no problem

First, thank you for taking the time to reach us. I apologize for the inconvenience this caused you.

When Steam installs content on a different disk is because you have a library set up on that specific disk. Please do the following:

1. Navigate to your Steam client ‘Settings’ menu.
2. Select ‘Steam Library Folders’ from the ‘Downloads’ tab.
3. From here, you can view your default installation path, check if you have more than 1 folders.

If it is the case that you have more than 1 library, you can delete the 1 on the :C disk to avoid this issue.
