WoW always is thursdays mornings (I’m from Brasil). If I’m not making a mistake, last week the patch was wednesday morning too

oh, man! why does it have to be on a Wednesday after work time? but if the patch helps the game I guess we just wait, play Runescape or something
I love how everyone loves to complain. If you dont understand that this is gonna help the game and also your enjoyment of it well… I dunno if anyone can help you.
Why can’t they patch the world as I run through it? I pass a tree, I turn around, and that tree is now twice as patched. Just do it that way, Amazon. Also, use my Echo to see when I’m sleeping and patch my server then… come on, what kind of AI ruled future are you even creating?
Why are they screwing EU over big time with these updates? i dont get it…

not only that but it only takes “days” to isolate, write code to fix a bug, QA it and release to production for a product that is world wide handling at least 250,000 concurrent users.

Why don’t they just fucking adjust their downtime to each region. US is just here to wait for their serv to be up with a coffee (but even for the US, they’re also TZ depending for some states).
So please, just plan it correctly and update each region during the night, it would be great.
LOL every time it’s always EU and West Coast servers that have the most issues. Every game I’ve played so funny.
The most infuriating thing is that there is no ETA. Why ?
It’s sad that it takes 5 + (insert random number) hours to apply a minor (because .0.x is counted as minor i guess) patch.
How much time would it take to apply a major patch, or a real content update / DLCs ? A whole day ? Or more ?
The problem is, that they only care about US time, where it’s mostly off time (03:00-08:00 AM at LA) but in EU it’s the middle of the afternoon.
There is no cross play between regions, so why not apply the patches in 3 AM each region separately ?

Oh look, the widget still exists, they just don’t want to use it in their official announcements. Well that’s nice.
It’s early days but a nice clear schedule of when its happening and for how long would help.
What so all servers still down or its only West US / EU? Since i play on East US and its still down.
