Drop better equipment

Drop better equipment above the players current GS. As a player with 604GS I’m still getting green and blue @ 590 and below. The game never drops items that a player can use to advance or have a fighting chance. If someone is 600 then you should be dropping 600+ from time to time so people can have a competitive chance. Remove the shard upgrade gate now that Brimstone is out and there are enemies up to level 67. Simply drop better weapons and armor. Even gypsum kiln and cast suck – it provides greens and blues in 590 range that are useless. On the very rare chance I find a legendary it attributes like focus or INT on a sword or STR on a life staff. Roll appropriate attributes for the type of equipment or allow players a method to convert the attribute (maybe change the kiln do this instead and remove the shard gate). Make people feel like they earn something rather than buying equipment on the trade post (which is broken too). Like always, I ask “do you even play your own game?”

Couldn’t agree more…if you work zones at or above your GS you should be getting gear you can use rather than simply salvaging it. Why are there iron arrows in Brimstone or lvl 1&2 pots?

THIS! ^^^ As a lvl 60 with 600+ GS i love getting T1 potions from World Tours and Elite Chests. Nothing makes me happier than filling my bags with complete garbage!

Drop Rates of both Named-Items and others has already been dramatically increased.

If non-named drops were guaranteed to drop with a relevant Perk/Attribute this would ultimately destroy the market.
Prices have already reduced dramatically with the release of Golden Scarabs and the ability to guarantee 2 Perks+1 Attribute when you roll as it is.
Compared to how it used to be where you could only pick 1 Attribute or 1 Perk, the rest was left to RNG.
Then they released the timeless Shards which gave you the ability to guarantee the 1 Attribute and 1 Perk.

Not Only will this ruin the Market; it will only devalue Crafters more and make it irrelevant.

so no, I completely Disagree with this post.

So, the market would collapse? Out of say 100 pieces of gear & weapons that drop on a WT, NONE are an upgrade if you are not a fresh 60. That makes no sense to me…but what do I know?

Eh there are a few super good ones but they’re mostly things that were temporarily moved to chests in Brim. Shadow’s Edge, Legate’s Ring, etc…which I have like 4 each of and wish I could sell haha

You have the right to disagree that is your opinion but without decent drops that motivate people to play then this game will continue to lose players over time. Simply, the game does not drop items that allow a player to progress. Even faction related items are useless by the time you have advanced to the next faction level. You mention the value of the market has dropped, this is not the case on Avalon. Most of the equipment is very expensive - for example any armor with Str/Con is premium cost. Most of the items on the market are not crafted. The in game market should not be the primary place for people to get upgrades. In a game like this it should come from exploring and fighting as a reward. SO, to your opinion, I Disagree.

If you don’t think decent drops are easily accessible as a fresh 60.
Then, you really need to do some research as to what is “Decent”.

Either that, time to get your eyesight checked.

Your comment provided no value and showed 0 effort. Keep up the great work.

I’d remove the clutter and change it directly for 1-3 gold or what’s worth when you salvage them, but there are already too many named easy drops all around.

This is spot on…where is the motivation to do WTs, Faction Quests, etc?

They are, I completely agree, but how about after that?
