This iteration of the Diamond Gypsum needs to be looked at. It’s considerably slower and a much larger time synch to get your six gypsum a day than any other Diamond Gypsum source in the past. It is frustratingly slow. It needs to be doubled if not tripled. It takes longer than Topaz to complete my daily Gypsum from the turkeys.

I agree, think i killed 40+ turkey’s yesterday and got 0 diamond gypsum.

They managed to turn a daily login activity into a chore.
Worst part is diamond gypsum was supposed to originally only be available during events. It’s odd to me that it was easier to farm outside of events than it is now with the turkey drops. It may not be a factor of entirely drop rate as turkeys can sometimes be difficult to locate but realistically these should be 100% drop rate the first six turkeys each day.
I agree it should be the first 6 turkeys.
I used to get them by just chopping a few trees, but now I can spend almost an hour trying to get the things. I’ve given up. It’s not worth my sanity.

seriously? I mean really…seriously? They are GIVING you gypsum…that drops along your typical farming day.
I have done my turkeys now every day since launch.
I got my gypsum on every 2-3 turkeys?! 10 Mins of farming.
No luck gear or something…
No, no they aren’t. Who goes out and farms turkeys?
And its not my typical farming day if i can normally get this in five minutes and it takes 90 minutes now with turkeys. That’s for some people all their entire play time. That is just dumb.
If they are going to move it around from event to event it should have a consistent “time sink”.
Last night’s patch increased the drop rate for diamond gypsum and the 3 coin bags. It was very quick for me today.

Yup this has been fixed. 10 Turkeys yielded 6 or 7 gypsum orbs for me today, perhaps 3 minutes total time spent. This was a chore to begin with, but now it is at least a very fast chore.
