I second that. Same setup, but with MAJOR trophies. all gear near 600 GS. supposedly should receive a drop at around 6% for wildwood or barbvine (assuming that it’s 6% for EITHER and not 6% for each), but I can go easily 50 trees without seeing a single drop.

Indeed it is broken , today i was farming Wirefiber with full full decked out luck and with pvp on in about 3 hours of farming i got only like 20 scalecloth which is nuts and complete waste of time, FIX your shit AGS. And its the same with any other legendery resource farm. 2 days ago the drop rates were nuts now they are downed to pretty much 0.
I’m feeling the same, I spent around ~2 hours farming wirefiber with full luck, PvP on, 1 major + 2 basic trophies, and received ~4000 wirefiber, 22 blisterweave, 8 scalecloth.
If those numbers are correct, the grind is way too high imo. I have to basically spend my whole play session farming the materials for my daily CD, just to craft 1 item which will 95% of the time roll terrible stat & perk combinations?

@Vyci and thats if u are not contested in the area u are farming , if there are people there is no point of farming at all with these drop rates. Which is very very sad.
Yeah i’m on a dead server, 200 people at peak, running the best wirefiber route without any competition
I just post this today on another thread:
Yesterday I farmed my spot for 4 hours with full mining set, 2000 food and pvp on and I ended up with a tons of orichalc ore, 5 tolv and 6 cinnabar and 3 T4 gems.
At the moment I’m farming with no mining gear on, 2000 food with pvp on. In a little over an hour I got 2 T5 gems, a bunch of T4 gems, 15 cinnabar, 8 tolvium and a void ore.
Don’t use your luck gear at all, use the 2000 food with pvp on I think that’s the sweet spot. If you don’t want to pvp flag then you use your gathering gear.
I dont think thats the problem because 2 days ago it wasnt like that. After the short maintenance they did im 100% sure they shadow nerfed the luck without telling us anything. And whats the point of giving 30% gatherin luck with pvp on when it does not even work

I don’t think luck value itself is nerfed because how could you explain I’m getting more stuff with less luck? and please dont say it’s bad rng it really is not I’ve been testing it so many times. What I put down is just 1 example

I do think it’s working. I think that there’s a problem with having too much luck.
They did admit that there’s a problem with monster drop loot luck, what makes you think there isn’t one with gethering luck?
guess what, it doesn’t seem like it’s working, and if it was, they must’ve done something to the original drop rate/chance
Skinning luck seems to work perfectly fine, I had the same results when skinning. Its logging and harvesting that I haven’t been able to get anything to drop with.
I dunno i have farmed over 800 boar with skinning gear pvp flag on for 4 hours straight and I end up with 38 scarhide 68 smolderhide this make no execuse take me back old patch.
something is definitely up with gathering luck after patch. I don’t know what it is, but it’s broken I can tell you that much.

570+ logging gear.
2000 logging food.
3 minor logging trophies.
PvP enabled.

1/150 for 5 wildwood
Am I supposed to farm for 20 hours a day so I can use my daily Ebonwood cooldown? There is so much wrong with this game.
I just did a farming session in the northern part of Edengrove for Blisterweave/Scalecloth, as well as Smoulder/Scarhide. Full luck gear, trophies, 2k food, amulet and pvp… Didnt even get my cooldowns for either profession.
Like, in all honesty: If I farm for 1h trying to get the materials for both professions (1h per profession) I EXPECT to at least get the cooldowns done for lets say 3 or 4 days. But I didnt even get enough for a single day. Fix ur shit. As simple as that.
