Drop Rates for Legendary Resource Materials Still Not working

I don’t think luck value itself is nerfed because how could you explain I’m getting more stuff with less luck? and please dont say it’s bad rng it really is not I’ve been testing it so many times. What I put down is just 1 example

I do think it’s working. I think that there’s a problem with having too much luck.

They did admit that there’s a problem with monster drop loot luck, what makes you think there isn’t one with gethering luck?

Skinning luck seems to work perfectly fine, I had the same results when skinning. Its logging and harvesting that I haven’t been able to get anything to drop with.

I dunno i have farmed over 800 boar with skinning gear pvp flag on for 4 hours straight and I end up with 38 scarhide 68 smolderhide this make no execuse take me back old patch.

something is definitely up with gathering luck after patch. I don’t know what it is, but it’s broken I can tell you that much.

I have been gathering wood for the last 5 hours non stop.

570+ logging gear.
2000 logging food.
3 minor logging trophies.
PvP enabled.

Result:
1/150 for 5 wildwood

Am I supposed to farm for 20 hours a day so I can use my daily Ebonwood cooldown? There is so much wrong with this game.

I just did a farming session in the northern part of Edengrove for Blisterweave/Scalecloth, as well as Smoulder/Scarhide. Full luck gear, trophies, 2k food, amulet and pvp… Didnt even get my cooldowns for either profession.

Like, in all honesty: If I farm for 1h trying to get the materials for both professions (1h per profession) I EXPECT to at least get the cooldowns done for lets say 3 or 4 days. But I didnt even get enough for a single day. Fix ur shit. As simple as that.

i am OK getting skinning gold items, you can find packs of animals to kill at a somewhat fast rate. But wirefiber, and iron wood, Orichalcum are to few and far between for such horrid drop rates.

sad that it is better use of time to gather tier 2 materials, sell then buy high level materials, for daily cooldown.

then after couple days of doing your daily crafting. You then have to get past the RNG perk hunt for a decent peice of armor. i almost think Korean RNG enchanting is better than New World perk/GS hunting, crafting grind.

then there is the watermark system. focus is more on looting chests, than killing the mobs around it. so you have zerg parties to bypass mobs to get chests fast as possible. lawl content.

its not the bugs, and dupers that make me log in less and less, they don’t help. it is more the QOL, and mechanics of the game that just make less enjoyable to play as a pve’er.

Got 58 wildwood in two ironwood runs on patch release. Now I get maybe 10 each time I do the route. They nerfed PvP luck, it’s not doing much of anything

Honestly this one has me livid, especially because nobody is talking about it in the bigger portions of content on youtube. I cant find anything about it, which shows me that AMG hasn’t acknowledged it, because it isnt even listed in the known bugs post I’ve been digging through. That’s game breaking, I cant level jewelcrafting at all, which is the only crafting I’m useful to my group for. It’s the only crafting I’ve focused because we all specialized. Just hit 60 and I spend gold buying mining luck gear and now it’s less than garbage, it actually makes my drop rates WORSE if I wear it.

This post has me laughing at posts that don’t know what RNG is in 2021.

Hint: 6 percent CHANCE does not mean you will get 6 out of 100.

when you increase your luck stat, and your rare materials are lowered by 90% in response, something obviously isn’t working right. don’t be a douche.

Yes but you can have a really bad run of bad luck. RNG doesn’t work like drawing names out of a hat. It’s more like a lightly weighted dice rolled over and over again. Luck gives you a better shot at a side, but never a guarantee you will ever land on that side. These guys explain it better:

Also luck moves the bar of the type of items you can get before its just giving you a better shot. So a lot of understanding and testing has to occur before these statements. “I used to get an item 5 times a day and now I don’t” is not only anecdotal, it is a fallacy.

I never name called, I said to not be a name. Avoid that behavior. The fact that you have consistent inabilities to get rare drops for multiple attempts with max luck, and then remove all luck and then get more of the rare materials, is kinda simple. The fact that this is happening for multiple people and that They’ve also tried and found that certain luck pieces have negative values, which shows it’s a system problem. It’s extremely insulting for you to assume that it’s that people simply don’t understand what RNG is when there’s so much data already shown that proves it isn’t so simple. And the fact that you say it’s amusing because it’s a simple lack of understanding is abhorrent. Don’t minimize others’ experiences. That’s not ok, and is a Douche-like behavior you should refrain from doing. Is that a bit more clear? Should I suggest you don’t understand what I’m saying and tell you how funny it is that this thing is frustrating you? It seems pretty simple to me.

I have experienced the noticeable lack of drops while harvesting also. I’m wondering if they nerfed the drops since in the next patch we will be able to make our own scalecloth, blisterweave, smolderhide etc.
