Ok so I know this is going to sound weird but… Change the drops in the game, I am tired of getting a full inventory of items only to break them all because they are junk. Solution is easy and will boost the player economy. First stop dropping potions at level 20 -level 25 and start drop reagents. Second stop dropping green and blue gear at the level 20 - level 25 range also and start dropping gold and components instead. No more potions from chests in zones above level 30. Instead have reagents in the chest and gold. No more spamming hundreds of purple and orange drops just to get one decent item, instead reduce the amount of weapon, armor and jewelry drops and have components and gold replace the vast majority of item drops from both mobs and chests. Also now that the amount of item drops is reduced, reduce the number of BOP items and increase the BOE count. (just switch most of what is currently BOP to BOE.) This change will make player crafting more important which will improve the player economy. Third, lets talk crafting, give armorers more sets that have a bonus attached when wearing the entire set. You could even match weapons to the armor sets that have a bonus also. Fourth give crafters the ability to make a “pattern” that they can sell that will allow players to learn transmogs for their gear. You can make it so in order to learn how to make a specific pattern the crafter must break an item with that particular look. Once they do this the first time they can then make the pattern repeatedly using specific components and resources. Also make it a level 200 requirement and have the crafter do a special quest line once they hit 200 that will teach them how to create the patterns, one quest is for boots, one for hands, one for pants one for sword, on for shield, one for spear etc… The above changes should improve gameplay and the player economy, let me know what you think and add ideas…
There’s an economy?
