Dummies MUST be removed from wars, it's too easy to stack HeartGems [+Image inside]

^ This. Also based on a post not too long ago about this settings issue, the latest stance from AGS was that it is bannable to adjust your nvidia thing as an advantage. So hopefully the mods saw this and ban the OP.

It’s not my print screen my dear friend.

Good post definitely

Even just the tracking issues they cause are ridiculous. Melee weapons will home to the dummies 20x harder than any player character model.

Show this post to me pls.

Did big Streamers use it aswell ? would love to see how they ban them (they will never do )

and how do they even want to figur out that someone using it there is no way for them to know

It couldnt be that hard to just remove the dummies when the war starts after the 15 min prep.

Could it?

Wait til people figure out hitting the dummies procs refreshing move, too

They already know that, it’s not ONLY for HeartGems.

You can search the forums for it. I am not going to waste my time looking for it since I know exactly what I saw and people even linked the Mods stance on it which was the latest one as they had a different stance before that one.

Just do a search for whatever the nvidia thing is where people can make tweaks to it so they can hide all of the stuff like the OP.

Actually found it quite easily: 2023 Nvidia Profile Inspector, is it safe or not? - #31 by Subtilizer Scroll down to around post 54 there is a long orange reply.

Here is one of the key things from them:
“Here is what it says, put in my words now: We can definitely approve you wanting faster load times and GPU processing for example, but we will not allow it if it gives you an unfair advantage.”

I thinks it’s easy to find out who is using it.

Dummies went from stacking mortal empowerment to stacking heartrunes.
Natural evolution of the New World community in the wake of poor quality control & testing by AGS

the same post that explicitly says this…? which is exactly what you’re doin lol. how bout you link the entire post?

one of the most vaguest replies regarding the topic. pretty much says they won’t proactively go after people using nvidia profile inspector but will investigate reports of people using it. no where does it say they’ll ban as they’ll have to somehow prove it’s giving an unfair advantage. is dropping your graphics from high to low considered an exploit?

if the foliage that is removed by nvidia profiler had it’s own hitbox and nvidia profiler got rid of that hitbox, then that would be consider “modifying aspects of the game”. idk why ur acting like a shrub missing affects whether or not you see someone when theres a GIANT red health bar above their name

Yeah, I really don’t understand NW devs, like “Oh, let’s fix ONE PERK and potentially exploit things in the future instead of removing this garbage which serves ZERO purpose”

LMAO HAHA I linked the entire thread. You sound like one of those who use this so you are all disgruntled it will be bannable.

False. Obviously reading isn’t your strong suit. Love how you ignored this from an Orange:
“Here is what it says, put in my words now: We can definitely approve you wanting faster load times and GPU processing for example, but we will not allow it if it gives you an unfair advantage.”

There are dummies in both starting positions attacking and defending. Adapt don’t whine about people working smarter not harder.

I’m sure you can equally adapt if they’re removed from wars.

Yes you could but if it isn’t broken don’t fix it. Changing things often leads AGS into some other issue. Much more important things to work on then removing dummies from a dozen locations.

Until they decide to have different effects on perks/weapons skills etc depending on what the environ you are in, be it PvP or PvE you will keep getting this sheet.

Arenanet had to do it for GW2 PvP, and there combat was a lot more balanced for it.

Its more work yes but in the long run you will get less issues.

cant see it happening unfortunately.
