Dungeon Rewards, Party Trade option?

Your running Tempest again, its your 25th run. Why Are you here? you just want the last peice of that armour set! OK lets do this, Its my time, I can feel it!

… Yep not that run…Ok lets go again…Yeah ok not that run… one more?..ah again no drop…

Has this happened to you? or a friend?

How can this be fixed without the constant grind?

Implement Dungeon drop trades with your group, Much the same as in other MMO’s Like ESO or GW2.

How do you feel about this?

We wanted to get Dooms Chance Earring for a friend yesterday. From Genesis. Did 3 runs.
I got it 3 times (as legendary), my wife got 2 and one other party member also 2.
The one person who wanted it: Zero.

Feels terrible having to salvage it when the friend needs it.

So yes please. Party Trade!

I’ve run so many times I have all named items except the Tempest Heart. I think that there should be like 2 hour window where you could trade these items between the group members. However, that boss member would have to be present in a boss arena or something to be eligible.

why would you salvage it knowing it will be worth a lot more in the future on salvage?

sorry no, but go back through the history, 600 GS items will give greater rewards soon. Most of us are saving higher named GS items to see exactly what the rewards will be…if a 599 item takes a few umbrals to make it 600 to salvage, might be worth saving.

i think this is a great idea, but i do think there should be some pre-req for it.

to prevent more hard carrys and selling of M10 loot

it should be only unlocked to trade with the person, after you have done the dungeon with a victory screen at the end with them for the whole dungeon.

the amount of items traded is limited. maybe 1-2 a orb at most. and make the trading of GOLD disabled to try to curb the sale of dungeon run loot

then it kind of falls back at the, once you have everything, do you need to ever come back here question ? is this dead content ?, should be a way to upgrade rewards for muilti clears or something … like the first boss drops X2 gold the 2nd boss drops 1000 faction tokens, and the third boss even on normal difficulty drops 100 umbral shards

also need a rework of M1-M4 rewards as they are far bellow the standard of what is now OPR

Please show your references to this. I understand your trying to be helpful but saying something is going to happen with out backing it up isnt useful, Still thankyou for your input.

sorry, not searching AGS history for ya, but it’s isn’t that old. Ask around on your server, it’s well known, not just me spouting off with some random thought I promise.

Some Pre req? How about only original Dungeon members and can only be done for a short period afterwards, say 30 mins?

I agree with your M1-M4 comment, the rewards are slightly pathetic.

as far as your OP…that’s a real difficult spot for me honestly.

I posted earlier how devs tend to make the game easier as time goes on, and I don’t really like the trade idea. Player X spent X hours running X dungeon X times and finally has BIS in everything, while a few months down the line new player can now get the same BIS gear in 1/2 or less time…I don’t see how that’s fair. The difficulty of the game is a reward in itself.

Its still not a guranteed drop for a named dungeon item to come. So theyres still the difficulty.

Other MMOS have worked around this, im pretty sure New World will do even if its some other way.
