So can you get banned for receiving duped gold?
so this guy was going off in all chat about how he duped all this gold and i called him a dick for getting trading shut down so he sent me 5k in i assume duped gold and told me to enjoy my ban too.
surely people cant get banned for merely receiving duped gold right? if so rip every streamer ever
So, assuming you used his DM or comment in chat to report him for cheating (which would have also documented what was going on) there should be no issue here.
Generally I would expect the answer to be “no, the gold will be removed from your account but you should not be banned”.
If you want an AGS response, however, I would post this in the Support Forum where it’s far likelier to get AGS attention.
You need to screen shot his comment, because reports have come in of this causing people to get the ban hammer.
You also need to report them in game and explain exactly what they did and don’t use the gold.
Screen cap the convo and send the money back.
