Firstly I want to say for three weeks I have been enjoying the game on the whole, levelling your character to cap is {IMHO] way too easy, the complexity of the gathering and crafting system is really good and will keep you [and me] absorbed for a much longer time.
The ability to ‘tweak’ items with the ‘crafting mods’ etc really gives a lot more choice than other MMOs I have played.
That said this is where I pull no punches:-
I have not been playing for a month yet and this is already the second time all ‘wealth transfer’ has been disabled due to ‘duping’.
This is a MAJOR part of the game and should have been sorted during Beta test [you did beta test didn’t you? /sarcasm]
All my sales items have now expired, my storage and bags are full, posting costs are wasted and my game is at a standstill or I just waste my gold posting items that no one can buy!
I am sure I am far from being the only person in this situation.
Where was the ‘in game’ announcement?
How about offering support to your ‘players’ and actually permanently banning the dupers?
From what I am reading [here on the forum and other social media] some of them are being allowed back in game on accounts that have been built through duping exploits.
You need to at LEAST offer a temporary alternative such as removing carry and storage limits while we cannot buy or sell items.
If these past 3 weeks are indicative of what is to come, then this game is going to die a very swift death. People are already leaving in droves, which of itself is nothing exceptional for a newly launched game, the reasons however, duping, update and patch durations are exceptional.
THREE HOUR updates are a thing of the past, the long distant past of computing [I know I was there!]

I believe that Amazon chose the right tactic, without sending violators to the ban immediately. At least they are able to admit their mistakes: after all, bugs are partly their fault. The world would be much better if people could admit their mistakes and not put everything on others, as some did. I’m sorry for a strange statement, English is not my native language.
These are ‘basic’ bugs that should not have made it past beta into the final game, duping is nothing new in MMOs, I first saw it around 2006 or so, frequently it is people using old exploits in a new game!
Yea, I agree there was no in-game announcement whatsoever in regards to disabling the wealth transfer, trades, etc since it happened. I also agree that they should have also frozen time on duration items that were already posted in the trading post and not get expired until it’s enabled again, this is to prevent reposting items that are again costly for us depending on what items and days were posted. Anyway, I am still awake waiting for this to get fixed or when they enabled it. sigh!
It didn’t hurt me as much financially this time, but last time I was only just starting to make gold and learning the TP/AH system in game… I lost over 50% of my gold thanks to me not having much at the time and posting stuff for the first time just as it closed
