This is the most valuable chest and recipe in this game, I would know if I had 
Exactly the same experience I had yesterday, the same disappointment, the only difference is that I dropped this recipe for the first time and I was very happy.
Friends, as you can see, I am not the first person to encounter this error and everyone is a victim… and again you see that so many people replied but no authorized(admins, moderators etc.) person is interested in us… Big disappointment…

Like I said before, I also got the recipe yesterday for the first time and was excited to make Dynasty Chest for the entire guild, until the following seconds of huge disappointment, when salvaging the recipe got me nothing!

Sorry you are having this issue, theres an ongoing investigation on this.
I would need your region, your server (kor), character name (stmessiah), an image of the error (if you can) and logs would help.
Instructions to finding logs here:
ogs can be obtained by following these steps:
Instructions for generating a DXdiag: (Open and run DxDiag.exe (Open and run DxDiag.exe))
Instructions for finding the in-game logs:
- Press Windows+R on the keyboard, type %appdata% and press enter.
- Open the most recent file from this folder: /AppData/local/AGS/LogBackups.
- Paste the contents of the file into your message. Send a pastebin of your logs to me via PM.
1- Submit error at \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\New World Alpha\CrashUploaderLog.txt
2- Send a pastebin of your logs to me via PM. It will be the most recent file under 
/Users//AppData/local/AGS\LogBackups.“
This info will help understand what is going on.

Honestly this is with all furnishing that became available in ER after 1.1. Anything that is furnishing from there is effected by this bug.
im in us west and have the same issue on the live version, the PTR seems to have it fixed but the real question is will it be retroactive to what people have already salvaged. do believe that when these where made available in game there is a code disconnect between the schematic being salvaged and the player receiving the unlock. Like a “/” or something dumber lol.
PS scraped a teak desk in the PTR and learned it but scraped it on the live server and nothig.

This is a global issue, so do not ask people for logs!
No furniture recipe from Ebonscale is working.
When you salvage the recipes you do not get it in Workshop in order to produce it.
I only noticed my error because it was a freekin Dynasty Storage Chest Recipe.
Do you realize how important that is in game?
It is extremely important that AGS fix it for everyone (not some guy) and you should use your own logs to give players what they are entitled to, meaning we got the recipe, we salvaged it and we didn’t get it in Workshop, so how hard can it be for you to fix this for me and many others, and in my case being able to produce Dynasty Storage Chests for our entire Guild!

See? They just want logs because most of them think it’s an us problem.
And also, don’t think there’s going to be an error, you salvage and get nothing. So unless people are recording every minute of game play the dev team is going to have some work to do fixing it for everyone including those who might not even realize they didn’t learn something after salvaging.

I’ve started several posts about this as well, all Teak stuff, stonecutters table etc. You don’t need our files because it’s not a problem specific to any of us. None of them frikken work, or ever have. Go set up an account on any world, buy some schematics off the auction house and see for yourselves. I hope you can see how insane this is to everyone that we keep telling you guys and you keep asking about it each time like it’s the first time you’ve heard about it. Like, this is crazy.
oh, and I want my FRIKKEN SCHEMATICS OR $3,000+ GOLD I TOLD YOU ABOUT OVER A MONTH AGO ! Seriously the worst support I’ve ever experience for ANY game
Blaming the developers and not helping them is not a very smart idea either.
If you want the problem to be fixed faster, show some respect, and do something in return.
They have plenty of issues to fix apart from this one, and flaming on forums isn’t going to speed up things.
It’s also very disappointing that a lot of us already posted multiple times about this. Including the info they ask about each bug. Names if the schematics etc. Never got a reply on those posts.

This is an anoying bug. I have several recipies I don’t dare to salvage because of not knowing if it works or not. I have that recipie as well but not salvaged yet.
Dynasty chest is same storage amount as the starmetal hope chest afaik. It is just another look but I guess its more rare.
It happened to mee to, a few days ago, not only with that schematic, other ones too…
Please, repair that…

I have had the same problem so just keeping any new schematics that were introduced in 1.1. I read above it is fixed in next patch based on PTR, so hope to read confirmation in the 1.2 patch notes when it releases.
I did already report this in the 1.1 bug thread.
However, this did happen before with a Mahogany Bookcase too that I bought off the tp.
I alm hoping the fix gives us schematics we did salvage, but didn’t appear on our furnishing list.
