Hey, I’m a day one player excited for the FSS launch and brimstone and I was remembering how after hitting 60 quests would still award XP but it seemed to be useless. I don’t know if they have changed it or not but if they haven’t and it’s still useless past 60 I think there should be like a small gear loot box or some other reward for every time you would earn enough XP to gain a level after 60.
I did some searching on google and didn’t see anything about a change, so sorry if they have already changed it and I missed it.
It does make sense that you still get exp for quests at level 60 if max level will be increased to level 70 or 80 later, why should AGS change exp reward system temporarily? Not going to happen.
It’s a bit of a shame this experience goes to waste. For trade skills the aptitude system is in place. It would have been nice to see this implemented for the level cap as well. A global level aptitude. Where each full level worth of experience could offer you another Gypsum orb for example. And the interval bonuses could provide you with basic stuff like perhaps some coin, some potions, some food.
They should’ve added an aptitude chest for levelling past 60 at this point. It doesn’t matter whether they increase the levels later since they could just move the aptitude to the new max.
I can’t be bothered to check now, but I think I saw XP as part of the rewards on the new zone quests. It’s a max-level zone so what is the point of the XP there?
They could at least dsiable it, pause it until we get a level up OR find another way we benefit from bothering to do any quests other than the main story.
