I’ve been sword and boarding for a while and I found out how to easily solo bears, all you need to do is stay on their flank/rear end, they won’t do any slam attacks, just regular swipes. Gotta stay 1/2 way to 3/4 way back on their side, too far and they’ll spin around and smack you, then start stomp attacking.
For me, block their 2 swipes, then use 3 light attacks and back to block, they swipe twice and you hit back 3 times, just stay beside them the best you can, super easy!

Q is an ability called Berserk. Apparently, there are other Hatchet skills and even a tree where you throw things. But I don’t have any of that. Only Q.
Oh man, maybe I should drop spear and use the hatchet as my secondary, that looks pretty amazing, especially the healing skill
