When the game first launched the only server i could get on was a west coast server. I have been waiting for the cross server transfers for over 6 months. Now they come, i have a free transfer token, do all that is asked by selling house, removing orders, disbanding from company., etc and it says i have to many characters on the east coast server…i have one. The drop down box shows i have 1/2 everywhere except east coast which shows 4/2 even though i only have one character slotted and one open slot showing. Now my character is still on west coast server without houses, trophies or any thing i used to properly pay the game and i lost out on 15k selling my houses for half price. Please fix so i can use my open slot on the east coast server screen to transfer my lvl 60 character…thank you
The only work around to get your character over there now would to be deleting your one character on US East and deleting your PTR characters. For w/e reason the PTR characters are counting towards your count.

I am sorry to hear that you are not being able to transfer to an East Coast server. Please try the following troubleshooting to try to solve your issue:
- End New World Task from the Task Manager
- Fully restart your computer, disconnect it from the power for a while and then turn it on again.
- Go to Steam and Verify the Integrity of the game’s files.
- Enter to New World and try to transfer again.
If these steps don’t solve your issue, please contact our customer service to file a ticket on your behalf and have a deeper look on this matter.
PD: thanks to @MalaZedik for providing a suggestion in this issue. Please note that deleting a character is not a recommended troubleshooting, however if the other existent characters aren’t a priority for you, you can try this suggestion.
