Easy 1v10 with heavy armor + life staff [Outpost rush] [PVP] [Video included]

It is actually easy to Balance aside from Bugs.

Just make Heavy Armor only usable with certain Wapons like Sword Shield and 2 Handed Weapons, Light Armor for Mage, Bow, Musketeer and rest/all (for Hybrid Specs) Medium Armor. Problem solved.

Just put away your life staff and heavy armor, use a bow or musket with spear or rapier and duel anyone with heavy and life staff… Just do it. And then tell me game is balanced.

Why do I have to play with an overpowered weapon to kill another player with an overpowered weapon??
As you said we use useless weapons. Not the weapon is the problem then. Then game is not balanced then. Jesus its so obvious I cant even argue with this nonsense.

Freedom is part of this game. There must be another option. Compromises must be made. Like trading damage/heal output for defense.

Crazy cause I’ve played paladin literally since cbt even before resilient was bugged and I also don’t use resilient armor yet still can easily tank against players that don’t know how to fight healers. You’re just bad at the game and that’s fine. Rapier is terrible for 1v1 and gets gets outclassed by every other melee weapon and it’s even worse in group fights which is the majority of content in new world. Learn how to play the game and you’ll kill paladins very easily

Yes, just like on any other aspect of life if you bring the wrong tool the job gets harder. If I bring a mallet to a job that requires a chainsaw I’m going to struggle tremendously

Resilient still reduced all damage in CBT. It was reported a long time ago.

all would work out beside heavy armour suggestion. 10% nerf to it’s defence would mean nothing. Also as heavy it should have great defence.

I would rather suggest:

  • minus 15% movement speed in heavy when flagged for pvp
  • minus 60% healing output in heavy
  • minus 10% dmg output in heavy
  • +10% protection on top of the existing one

all other suggestions of yours seems great, beside I would give some bonus stam regen to light, since to wearing light has way too many downsides, it would even with that +30% dmg / healing output.

movespeed shouldnt be touched, and stamina regen should actually probably be nerfed across the board

2 days ago a healer stopped right before me, allowing me to constantly fire headshots on him. He was just standing in one place healing himself to max healt constantly, then messaging me “useless class” then walked away with full hp. Haha. . Imagine if he jump around me and I can land only 1/3of my bullets on his body not the head while he is hitting 800 with his life staff.
If you dont want play any of these overpowered classes then its time to uninstall the game.
I wait another week for balance patch if its not happening then I quit the game. And you guys can play without diversity. Where only 1 class is in the game cause others are left or swapped.

Heavy armor doesn’t need to be left alone because of pve, you can tank every boss in the game with a tower shield and timing in any armor.

Maybe in 1 year they gonna fix it, but not next week. They have game breaking bugs, gold and item dupes, weapons is broken, all game broken, no time for balancing something.

LS users keep saying ‘if you LET healer sit in circle’, wtf do you expect us to do? There’s absolutely no way to keep you out of it. Most stuns break on damage, there’s very little CC, healer can just i-frame dodge back into the circle and there are almost no movement manipulation abilities in the game bar reap and it’s on a large cooldown. YOU please explain to ME how anybody is supposed to kill a healer without 5+ people smashing him for 2 mins straight?

Weapon of choice for that seems to be the warhammer, but any combination that can dislodge and apply root or slow will do the trick. One can’t really dodge anywhere in heavy armor, and light armor doesn’t let you take an honest hit.

that sounds like a dream.

Our server consists of 50% hatchet exploiters, 35% Godaxe/stunhammer and the rest of the either completely useless weapons (or ls that just feels so unrewarding and boring)

This is a literal myth. There is NO way to keep a lifestaff user out of his sacred ground for long enough to make a difference. Hammer has stuns and one knockback which barely moves them. Spear has a pitiful vault kick that barely moves enemy player, these are all on biggish cooldowns as well and the healer also has iframes and full heavy armour. You would literally need between 15-20 chained CC’s to keep a healer from pressing 1 button and going to 100% again.

What you’re saying is complete fantasy and the CC in this game is nothing like any other MMO.
