Is there any timeline for El Dorado being unlocked? There are only 3 servers for west coast and 2 of them are locked for transfer and new character creation. I am considering coming back and all of my friends are still on El Dorado, I transferred w/ others when that server was dead. I deleted a low level character on El Dorado to try and transfer and found out that is disabled and now can’t make a new character.

I’m also in the same situation but with a friend of mine coming back. he wants to come back this week to start preparing for Brimstone but he’s starting a new character and is now unable to join me on El Dorado. Please give a time frame!

i literally have 4 brothers playing on el dorado server… i transfered from east coast to west coast and thought i could CHOOSE the server i wanted NOPE… i got transfered to the low pop DEAD server…when talking to customer service they said i had to wait 72 hours then transfer… i wait 72 hours and try to transfer NOPE… when talking to customer service was given canned answers and told there was NOTHING they could do and that maybee my WHOLE family transfer off a GOOD server whith a GREAT guild to go to a LOW pop server with NO guild or freinds… Hmmmm hard choice?..i cant even roll a new toon on el dorado to play with my family…WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER…

buuump, there is only 1 west coast server that you can move to and it’s absolutely dead. 1 OPR day if you’re lucky.

This issue is happening to my friend in the ‘El Dorado’ world.
Oh Lei tried to log in and he is forced in the ‘Aukumea’ world when he does not have a character there. Please fix so I can play with my friend. He wants to return to the game.

Locked status on worlds will remain until those worlds no longer experience high daily queues. I completely understand that it can be a huge bummer if you want to be on a specific server, but queues are often the result of people all congregating on particular worlds (in addition to merges). And if we opened the world for these occurrences above, it would contribute to growing queues to which create other unhappy problems – like people having to wait hours to get into their world.
We have attempted to limit this problem a bit more with our new Inactive Character System, but again, if the world is already experiencing high queues your best option would be to have your friends move to a world you all can participate on (and if their accounts qualify, they may already have 2 free transfer tokens to utilize) or perhaps wait several days for some world population shifts.

I was thinking that you may allow to create new character on the same server as your friends, but looks like not? And there is no estimate on when this server will be unlocked as well. Well, then looks like there is no sense to comeback… And I just wanted to play with my friends…

And 18 days later, EL Dorado is still locked and queue times are nonexistent… AGS I would usually ask politely to open up El Dorado, but now I’m demanding it. Open up EL DORADO!!!

The server has had minimal queue (1-3) for last couple days yet server is still locked. Please open El Dorado so I can play with my friends.

Yes this sucks my friend just bought the game and I’m told to transfer when all my friends play on this server as well it doesn’t even make sense to suggest that an entire group of people transfer to a server they don’t wanna be in and lose their companies and houses so I guess we’ll just have to take our group to a different mmo so we can play together it’s a shame really because I was having a lot of fun here but if one of my friends can’t come play than I don’t even wanna play I immediately lost interest in this game after I was suggested to transfer to another server instead of opening up el dorado when there hasent been any que for days

Alright but ygg and eld both haven’t had high queues or any for a few days at least, even during the weekend of release it was minimal.

I was able to transfer a few minutes ago. Look like it’s enabled finally.
Glad you got in but it’s not enabled. I logged in today and I can literally only pick the lowest population server in my region. 
I haven’t played since launch and popped in to see if the game is less of a dumpster fire, saw my character’s old world(El Dorado) got merged so I had to pick a new world.
I’m US West and there are only 4 servers/worlds to pick from and I’m locked out of 3/4 of them.
all kidding aside, I think they want to give the illusion that the game is doing well and servers are full.
