Elemental aversion damage reduction is less than intended value

  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: I tested damage reduction on elemental aversion gear and damage reduction was around 3% when it should be 3,9%. Other armor values or gems did not change.

  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Test ranged elemental damage with and without elemental aversion, reduction should be 3,9% with one gear piece but it is not.

It’s not, you’re just not testing correctly. If you were in light, that 20% bonus is additive with elemental aversion.

That sounds like a bug then, no reason to calculate it that way.

Thats not a bug…its just math

it makes sense, aversion is base dmg reduction, and additive and subtractive with all other base dmg modifiers.

Where is it stated that it’s base dmg reduction and why would it be? Shirking fortification is not base damge reduction, gems are not base damage reduction, so why should aversion be different.

At the very least UI should be made clearer if that’s the case. Stated 3,9% less damage is not accurate in most cases.
