This was suggested a million times. It was ignored by the same amount.
+1, would be nice
Pretty sure it’s 23 hours.
So you can literally just do it at the same time or, like, 59 minutes earlier than usual.
If you’re worried about group activities… You could always delay or… you know… skip a day >_>
It can always just reset at a specific time every day instead and allow players to do it when they have time rather than being forced to do it at approximately the same time every day.
Yes, and then you’ll have people coming here complaining about how they didn’t have time till the last hour and lost a bunch of chests to the reset.
I’d rather have the ability to control when my chests reset and it won’t kill me to wait a day if I want to group from thereon that badly.
mentioned so many times already and still no response from the staff.
Dumbest thing I could’ve read on these forums. From ANY pov it is better to have global cooldowns than having 23h or 24h kick in after looting chest. You pretty much know your day schedule so you can adjust going for the chest accordingly than wait for that exact hour they gonna refresh. Beside righ now more players complain about current CD design. If someone would actually cry about global CD for chest then it would be really smal number of players pretty much less than 1% of them. I haven’t seen literally a single player on the forums actually saying that current chest loot CD design is good and better than global CD on specific time.
It’s almost like this could be applied to the current system… Except it’s also not difficult to look ahead for multiple days.
Yea, especially when someone works on shifts
No matter how you look at it, global CD at specific hour is better than current system.
You don’t just automatically fall asleep when you get home after a 12 hour shift fam.
Yes please bump this, this would be amazing change.
how can you tell how people will feel after 12h shift? Especially when normal shift is 8h… Don’t know about you but if I was after night shift then I would rather go to sleep as soon as I would got home than going for a damn chest run because a damn CD is about to kick in…
Then amazingly enough… You have the capability to set your own chest reset timer to when you wake up.
and get fcked up on shift change day…
And as it turns out… Your life doesn’t revolve around a game, so you can adjust your timer to meet your new daily need because god forbid the new schedule auto fucks you with the universal reset timer if you have bad luck.
It’s an MMO. Skipping a day here or there to adjust the timer won’t kill you.
It would be really hard to get fcked by universal reset timer on shift change day. Only way it to happen would be to have something pop up out and I would have to deal with it.
You have few hundreds times smaller chance to miss something when you have global stiff reset timer than when you have a 24h CD that kicks in after looting.
I think we may just have to agree to disagree.
I’m honestly flabbergasted that players want less control over their own daily resets.
I can’t count how many times I’ve missed out on dailies for something like Maplestory’s 5pm cut off because I’m distracted with other shit lmao
You are deluded. It’s not about getting less control on their daily resets. It’s about MORE control on a daily activity in the game. If there is a stiff global CD to happen at certain hour then players will have more freedom on changing their daily ingame routine rather than having to stick to the routine with an accuracy of the minute because if they don’t do it then their schedule for next day will be fcked up.
A universal cooldown let’s me have full control over my schedule. The current system restricts players heavily.
A universal cooldown doesn’t restrict players from taking a break as you seem to think we need to take.
A system in an MMO that encourages skipping days to compete in endgame content is not practical.
And you would NOT MISS IT if there was a stiff global reset because you would do it at any time after reset kicks in. Global reset actually gives you more control rather than less as you think.
I’m not quite sure how your gotcha moment can come from my comment about missing a “stiff global reset” lol
