So i wanted to share our experience after the patch.
First i need to say that we run the mines and myrkgard in shattered mountain every evening since weeks. So a change there is really easy to acknowledge.
Its good to adjust the difficulty of this zone because we also felt it was way to easy to run trough them.
The Problem is that when you increase the difficulty of something you can’t decrease the earnings that players get from doing this.
Instead of this you need to increase it.
You need to fight the bosses/mobs for minutes in the moment and then they drop nothing in the most cases or heal/mana pots. This is ridiculous.
The „mini bosses“ in the mines with the big sword have way to much HP for the point that they are not named and dont drop loot in most cases.
Also the Bosses and Mages in Myrkgard are too strong for the rewards that you get from chests and their drops.
After yesterday evening we‘ve come to the conclusion that this zones are not worth it anymore.
We needed hours to clear the mines and then stopped in myrkgard after the big mage on the tower. We where 2 full groups with a not so bad mix of tryhard and casual players. And started to skip bosses with the tank holding them, because it does take too much time to kill them.
In the moment it is just time waste. The rewards you get are not worth to put this much time in this zones.
I think that running dungeons is now the better way to increase gearscore and get loot maybe we diddnt try.
We will not run myrkgard anymore its sad but we dont have a use of this and our time for it is too expensive to waste it. Sry devs.
Please decrease difficulty or increase loot drops / rewards and not just only set it to normal increase them as you increased the difficulty.
Yeah i dont even want to imagine that some players need to do quests there. I feel sorry for this players.
When you need to afford this much time for an activity the earnings have to be big. It isnt too difficult for us but you dont get anything from it. Every item i got ( and it wasnt much and almost everything green / grey ) yesterday was worthless… and for this i spend hours doing this boring bosses that just have way too much HP.
Decreased loot quality and amount from elite chests - this is an unintentional bug that was introduced in the 1.1 patch. We are investigating this issue and working on a fix, and will release it as soon as its ready
But yeah, i kinda stopped playing for now cause the loot just sucks at the moment. I hope they buff it because of the increased difficuity instead of just returning it back to normal.
Yes i read this also and after it i tought i need to do a post. Because they have to increase the loot drops and not just fix the bug and set it as before. Before the changes the difficulty and rewards felt nice together.
So when they increase the difficulty they also need to increase the rewards easy math.
Exactly. They even updated the terrain so it’s harder to “Ninja” some elite chests it takes more effort so better rewards? I really hope so.
I just don’t understand how some people have void gauntlet so fast at 600 GS after release maybe there’s another grind to get GS up REALLY FAST. But meh, not the thread to ask.

So I don’t have anything to do now unless I want to farm materials or level up my crafting. I know lots of stuff to do, it’s just that I don’t want to do them now cause it’s not for me at the moment. So I hope they get a fix soon!
